Well, the strawberry demo has all the pictures for regens in it. So you can check in the config.xml located in the "..\football manager 2006 gold demo\data\graphics\pictures\players\regens\" folder.

Haven't seen any official statement.

They'll send you an email in time if you're selected I think. Atleast so it was last year.

BTW haven't participated this year fortunatly
