Wow..this has really upped the game...you can't fiddle around the top of the box anymore..picking a corner to snipe at..or picking your spot to flick it in....now it's realistic...you need to make a split decision or get trampled ....

Just lost 2-0 to Celtic and 4-1 to Barca ....:f***:

Hehe glad you got it figured out ricflair. Yeah, my gawd the game is harder, but my team is pretty quality right now with a 3 game winning streak. attacking 3-4-3 formation is working great with Kezman,Donovan and Santa Cruz, still a point ahead of Southhampton though. Recent scores were as follows:

Southampton- Win 2-1 (solid home win)
Auxerre- win 2-1( last second goal by Santa Cruz )
Fullham- win 3-1 ( Kezman and Beattie hooked up twice to seal the deal)

Anyway, I really do think I'm going to get out of the division 2 this year,hehe. Take care

i'm a beginner at PES3 and playing on 3 stars.....
i tried this one and god damn sh!t. believe or not i lost 7-0 against liverpool playing as man united.....
this one is just TOO damn good for me, so i'll decrease back those attributes and practising more and more to get used to this trick...

Wohoo, i'm proud to say i'm 2nd division champ,haha. Have any of you guys noticed the type of shots that are taken? I've seen alot now and the only thing is the ball doesn't exactly go in the goal, still waiting for the cpu to score from a full volley or something, i'm assuming it'll definitely happen in the EPL when i get there. Just beat Blackburn, who was tied with me at the top with 29 pts and beat them 2-0 to seal the deal. I'm excited to play some more but i gtg to class,ugh. Take care guys keep sharing your thoughts and experiences.

i've only played 2 games with this.

1st - 2-0 win over holland
2nd - 2-1 win over italy

im brazil.

i think this doesnt make the game more dificult cause if this improve some skills of the players, also improves the skills from our players, so is proporcional :p

I dont' know if i agree with that, as the game sure has been more difficult for me, then again I"m not using the strongest team out there, also are you playing on 4 stars? I haven't tried this method other than 4 stars, it's perfect for me right now. But yeah you make a good point how it controls our players as well, but we manually control them as well,so it depends on how we play with our controller. The computer will play at a higher skill level with various types of approach towards the game, that is what is appealing to me, so its not really a matter of being harder but more complex and not so straight forward. But its just my opinion and I'm glad you tried it out, hope more people try it out as well and post their experiences.take care

im trying it with 5stars. it only works with 4stars?

im playing with brazil cause im gonna play a big tournament with other guys, and i training with it

im surely noticed one thing: the defenders are tough and agressive, they wont let me shoot :crazyboy: also i've notice that the attackers are making more special shots, like bicycles kicks and others.

That's good to hear. I dont' play on 5 stars cause its unrealistic to me because theres so much pressure by two guys at a time that they leave so many gaps open, 4 stars is just right for me, but I've never tried this new system with 5 stars and dont' really plan on it. Take care

I've tried some of these, like I added aggression for defenders and response for goalies. But I've been thinking, that if I'd add the technique skills to players, would even some 6. division players kick the ball like pros? 'Cause if they would, it would be unrealistic...u know some "Wannabe Ronaldo" would score with bicycle kick as good as Pele? Or something...but there shouldn't appear this kind of things...? I hope you got it... :)

not necessarily. If there is a low player who has lets say 50 shot technique, which produces types of shot variations, and you increase that by 10 obviously he goes up to 60, and whoever was an 80 goes to 90, if they're already at 80 they should be top class already so it doesn't really affect those "division 6" players, this method separates the great players to stand out in matches while also combining to make an incredibly competitive game. Good point though.

I'll immediately try. I want to play 7 stars, because with my friends we play in fix modality with 7 pad and we want to try a more difficult challenge!

hehe. well it's a pretty good challenge, as my seasons progress i always add Teamwork rating up by 3 as teams will gradually get better and its pretty neutral to me as i manually control my players so it doesn't matter. I wish i could play with some friends, but all my friends here the only soccer game they play is Fifa,lol, damn uneducated "soccer" lovers,lol. Plus no one likes to play on the computer,lol. Happy gaming guys!

You're right Anzi, at first I was skeptical with 5, but I forgot that i was play WE7 and the game is so much better gameplay wise than PES3 in aspects of AI pressure. It is now incredibly competitive and fast paced, i love it.

Redman, I dont know how to post my op file here without having it hosted, however I could send it to you via E-mail or i could just put in the paramters I have changed even though they are currently the same as the very first page. My option file currently has many transfers that I personally controlled for my preference.

By the way...again by the way... ;) Why on earth do you add aggression for defenders, 'cause in the game's 'EDIT MODE' it says that it increases attacking mentality. So I think that the defensemen attack more if you add aggression, and it leaves free spots to the defense. :(

I played with +7 aggression, and it was easy. Then I took off the 7 points from agression and it made the defense better...but I have played just one game now with default aggression, so I can't say if it was a coincidence. But according that match the defence was better if I didn't add any points to aggression.

Hope you guys got it...my stories are pretty messy sometimes. :)

EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot...I think that increasing response for the defenders and mid-fielders could make it a bit more difficult to attack. But that's just a thought right now...I'm at least gonna try it.

yes, i've added the aggression because it does make the defense more aggressive when i'm at the top of the box or they will also commit silly fouls, like in real life. I dont want their defending ability to be perfect if their defense rating is like a 60, they still have to be human. It is hard though as they are very aggresive in the box as it should be, more slide tackles more cards and more injuries.

I've also thought about adding response, i might just do this to the midfielders and a lil bit for the attackers and defenders as the midfield is where games are usually congested, i feel myself being too easily moving through the mid, then again i have Rosicky,Van Der Vaart, Zanetti and Myself as midfielders ( i'm rated as a default player though, but with 79 attack and 83 balance).

Anzi come back with results if the response try works out or not.Thanks.

Yeah, I believe that without increasing the aggression for defenders, the defense is better. And I added about 7 or something to response for defensemen and about 5 for mid-fielders, and it got harder. I also added couple of points to balance for defenders. And also I have added about 5 points for defenders' DEFENSE ability. I need the defense to be better, I need challenge. I've played couple of matches with those changes and it's a bit harder now.

And one more thing. If you want the game get harder, I recommend that you wouldn't increase strikers' abilities, at least not much. If you'd do that, the scoring would get easier. Do something like this if you want to get it harder.

Again I apologize my English...it can be a bit confusing sometimes. :p
