After all my criticism of the game I decided to give it another go. I chose to play about 20 or so games against Korea in amateur lvl, won them all with about 7 to 8 goals everytime and the game kept telling me to try the professional mode. Finally I had enough confidence to take on the professional mode but it seemed like a giant step for little me. I got beaten 5 games in a row without even ever coming close to a decent result, I lost with minimum 6 goals everytime.
I still cant do anything about those long diagonal crosses the ai makes, my defender looks like an idiot jumping up when I dont ask him to jump and then he tumbles around looking like a little child while the Koreans laugh behind my back. I can head out of the defense alright but getting direction on the ball is another matter. In midfield I dont get any headers won, they win them all and they just take the ball from my players whenever they want.
I realise it must be me, thank you EA for bringing this to my attention, I didnt realise untill now how stupid, dumb and unintelligent I am. After 2 weeks of constant playing I ve learned very little and the manual doesnt help me much either.
This has been quite an unfortunate and demoralising experience and it will take a while before my selfestime is back on top. I really dont care about the game being realistic or not, I just want a playable game where I can win some and loose some. Ack ack....when will I ever learn.
