No but seriously, i'll say this once and for all.
Heading on goal is done by pressing W although I think D works too but with both, timing is crucial.

to score - volley, header - its D (shoot button). W is for headed passes only. to head, you are supposed to press W only once, but i dont know the timing. what i do is tap it repeatedly. it works fine.

also, how do you put spin on shots/passes/free kicks etc? and skill moves, all i can do is the simple push the ball away and run.
all this stuff was fine and easy enough in every other fifa not being able to head if you ask me is just ridiculous....

u can only spin for free kicks. in the fk meter, hold shift/spacebar then press the arrow keys.

for the skill moves, you have to press the spacebar when you are a bit close to the enemy.

Oh, come on, if u dont know dont write the same things again. Neither D or W works in corner kicks. Th guy just stands. D works at normal crosses but not as a header but as score/clear the ball button. W works only in the midfield (but it's sh!t cause the ball always goes to the opponent)

Anyone scored (or at least headed) from corner kick???????

well Ea made the game so that footballers who is low in strength(attribute) will lose out on headers....
I once scored wif a header....Bergkamp auto headed it in...Weird

i dont know about corners, but crosses, yes, it works. i only scored once with a bicycle kick with keaown(huh???), from a corner tapping the lob button. i think you have to get the croass right to score with a header.

If you people didn't frantically press buttons on crosses and/or had read the info on FIFA features you would know about the auto cross feature.

When you cross the shot or clearence is entirely automatic and there is nothing you can do about it!

The thing that anoyed me (like in 2k2 with assisted passing on) is that I got 1 on 1 with the keeper running in from the corner of the box and I tried to lob him with the lob buttin but the auto cross took over and I crossed it the the other striker on the other side of the box who was marked and the defender cleared it!! Shame really, the lob over a keeper as he went to ground was my favorite way to score on the past 4 Fifa's. This is because it takes skill not to put it over the bar, hit the keeper or not get the chip away before the keeper is on your feet and it is realistic when you pull it off.

I can't head on corners and I daren't try when defending a corner as the keeper charges and I concede. I can pass head using the tap repeatedly technique and I can direct it as well.

As for skill moves, I can't do them as I haven't found the equivelent of shift on my joystick yet!! For free kicks I have to go to controller selct, remove the joystick, add the keyboard, set the curve and then swap back and take the kick!!!!

i think the lob is for bicycle kicks after i tried pressing lob button many times and players do bicycle kicks...

yeah, i was wonderin when campbell clears with header without me pressing anything. you can still lob the keeper by tapping the shoot button once.

ok i think ive worked out how do do headers, well it works for me anyway. what i do is hold down the button which i want to do i.e. shoot pass etc in the same way as every other fifa, then while still holding this button press the header button. this is what works for me i can guarantee all these people saying just press w or tap it like crazy that a) that doesnt work and b) its not really an accurate method is it, tap it randomly lol. the best way ive found is to hold the original button reasonably in advance of the ball coming, again like previous fifas, then press the header just as the ball is coming to you. This should work, it does for me.

i.e. keyboard : hold a/s/d press w
sidewinder: hold a/b/c press y

btw, about the overkeeper lob... It works here and its very realistic. Ive done it twice with ronaldo, and it was very pretty. its done by tapping the A button lightly.

when you lob it forward...the cpu defense heads the ball beautifully to teammates...

When i'm all alone and try to do the same...i've tried it numerous times...when you are all alone, and the ball it coming to u, you can't head it...it's a fact! you can't do what the cpu does.

yes, thats true. if your man is unmarked there is no way you can head the ball. has anybody done it?
