It plays like what most 3D games are meant to play like.

I've played it for only an hour or so ...so i can't really go into detail about gameplay.


Its also scaring the sh*t out of me :( Zombies and weird creatures coming out of nowhere....


Im going to play this at night (H) with the drapes shut and lights off :mrpimp:

As much as I would like too, I'm not gonna get chance to go near this game, even with a stick. My PC would need one hell of an overhaul and I simply don't have the money :(

not necessarily... the minimum requirements are well... not the minimum requirements, as the game runs fine on my PC, and i don't meet the minimum standards... as for your second problem, you can get around it if you wanted to, its not as hopeless as you make it seem. all is possible if you can dream it (H)

Yeh, like I've said to my mates, it's the only game ever to get me scared and it really does get your heart beating when a monster jumps out and you try desperately to kill it. Amazing game :rockman:

Well its the scariest game ive played since the marine mission on Aliens vs Predator 2... But damn, Doom3 is one hell of a game... Just entered the Alpha Labs now... Anyone gone beyond that? If so, how much harder does it get?

Theres no way anyone can complain about the gfx. Theres no game out there with better Graphics.

Amazing game this is!

ive been playing it for a while too now,

the graphics are indeed 2nd to none, not even far cry, screenshots do NOT do it justice, you gotta see it in motion.

the game is Scary as f*ck!

and make sure u have the volume up as that is at least 50% of the scare factor!

the game runs great on my PC

1.8 GHz AMD
768MB Ram
Radeon 9600 pro

the Doom 3 minumum requirements( unlike many other developers minumim requirements ) are idneed legit, if u have that, or something close to it, u WILL be able to enjoy it to uits fullest!

The biggest bottleneck i see is the GRaphics card, gotta get a DX9 complaint card, Ive seen Radeon 9600 sell for about 60 USD on some online stores, it aint much :)

yip. It's quite phun playing some console games using emus. And I got Zelda MM for free :P This cant be bad.. jeje (thats hehe is spanish I think :P)

GET AN NEW PC (later, wait for fully 64bit platforms, Win Longhorn, Intels 64bit CPU...aint worth getting 64bit atm, but also not worth getting 32bit, because it will look like **** in just 1-1.5 yr )
