I don't like it either, it doesn't make sense. There is no nostalgia effect towards that player. As I said a while ago they should put retired icons at least 10 years ago, so players retired around 2013-14. If they had put Phil Neville or Juninho Pernambucano it would have been acceptable for example. But these are contracts with leagues, with players directly. Many have removed them for legal disputes such as Overmars or Maradona. But this story of recycling assets from the previous year is "funny"(Not to mention pathetic). Who knows what they have in mind with Buffon. Theoretically they have the face ready for the new game but he has just retired ... Icon of the last moment rejuvenating him a bit? Or in the current season within some update. Surely they don't let a player like this get away. They will invent something to recycle him.

Damn it, I don't care what you think, when I heard about Gigi's retirement, I wanted him to be an Icon immediately since this man was basically in every other game EA released since 1997. But no, this continuity is going to break

M8no2001 passed me faces. I'm working on it very slowly because I'm tired today. I don't know what I will be able to do. Released around September 15th. Before we can't, various commitments of mine and of acicog who takes care of the site

Hello Giggiriva, just to let you know I would be very happy if you did decide to release the pitch lines from the 1800s, it would add to the realism and feel unique to that time. :)
