This year they are not HEROES. They are former Icons and women. The festival of nothing. Only Francescoli and Kanu deserve respect. For us who play a 10-year-old game, the others are cosmic nothingness, a sidereal void. Most of what EA adds we have them by default and often also acceptable or as good as Tevez

I missed Francescoli or he wasn't confirmed by EA yet
Anyway, although I'm not interested in female heroes, breaking down to what we have now, we have
  • Alex Scott – woman
  • Carlos Tevez – new, but new enough to feature in FIFA 21
  • Wesley Sneijder – new, but new enough to feature in FIFA 18
  • Gianluca Vialli – totally new
  • Bixente Lizarazu – totally new
  • Nwankwo Kanu – totally new
  • Tomas Rosicky – new, but new enough to feature in FIFA 18
  • John Arne Riise – new, but new enough to feature in FIFA 16
  • Nadine Kebler – woman
  • Ludovic Giuly – new, but new enough to feature in FIFA 14
  • Dimitar Berbatov – new, but new enough to feature in FIFA 16
  • Sonia Bompastor – woman
  • Jari Litmanen – downgrade from FUT Icon
  • Rui Costa – downgrade from FUT Icon
  • Paulo Futre – coming back from FIFA 17 Legends
so from this 15: 6 are relatively new, 3 are women, 3 are totally new, 2 are Icon downgrades and 1 is return from Legends era

This is undeniable objective truth, no idea if there's more to come. I'd not be suprised to see 4th women hero from Spanish Liga F and so 4 more heroes.

Yes this year very little stuff. I forgot about Vialli! Kanu was also present in FIFA 14. Seeing the card he should have dreadlocks like the Arsenal period, exactly like FIFA14. At this point if they have discontinued many ICONs I expect something important in that category.
