nother visit to one of the seasons in CP14, this time it is 1999/200 season. in next AIO, bayern munich starting lineup should be updated:

- michael tarnat should not start as a RB, he always played exclusively the left side (where lizarazu was starting L. furthermore, babbel was starting RB, while in CB postion was kuffour or matheus. also salihamidžić was not RCM, he should be on RW/LW position, with thorsten fink on RCM position and paolo sergio on LW/RW (scholl on the bench).

I told you I don't take your reports into consideration. You're talking into the wind.

The problem is that he often tells me what has already been done or is wrong... he recently discovered the presence of the 2010 Database which has been present for years, this is a symptom of a person who hasn't updated for a long time. Obviously the issue leads me to not be able to take his reports seriously. Even if they are correct he has a history that is not in his favor so... I ignore them. For me, updating a team doesn't cost me anything but it costs me to update all the databases I work on where that team is present. With the CM saving slowly it also means 1 hour to fix a team. So I have to be sure of what is reported to me. I can't waste time, change databases that I may be working on, to go to another database and discover that... it has already been done, or there is no need, or the reports are incorrect. I can't work like this, it's stressful.

Wimbledon, Tottenham and Blackburn. I have them but they are wrong.

I have a huge problem. The CM now takes me half an hour for each save. HALF AN HOUR! I can't do anything at the moment. Currently if I wanted to update 16 languages it would take 8 hours!

for some people it helped to reinstall direct x 9 / 10

but i think Giggis case is much more complex

giggi, belive me this is one big misunderstanding. let's try to clear things up:

1. i didnt "recently discovered the presence of the 2010 database", i knew about it since day one but...

2. ...i simply don't use 2010 database so i didn't know (or i simply forgot) cp14 already has wc 2010, that is only thing you were right;

3. i never reported something that is already fixed within cp14, never ever, find me just one false report about lineups. i'm older than you, i've been editing fifa and pes rosters since fifa 97 (playing fifa since fifa '94), so i'm very familiar with rosters.

Other times you sent me wrong reports or things already done. A few days ago Veron, Real Madrid 2002-03 and Flavio Coinceicao. Some time ago I remember a Barcelona. These precedents make history. This is why I can't trust it. Updating the patch costs a considerable amount of time. I don't just edit a database where that team is present. I work on about 20 databases. Every change affects a large part of these databases. If I change a 2000 team it affects around 6 databases. Currently the CM saves half an hour for every save. So between editing, extracting and importing, making these changes takes about 4 hours. Without considering that if I am on another database I have to save (half an hour) and change database. When I open the database to check and see that these reports are wrong.... I wasted half an hour. So I can't work. It is impossible to work in this way. So I ignore reports if I know there is a chance they are wrong.

but i think Giggis case is much more complex

I just used a restore point and it seems to be back on the order of 8 minutes on SSD and always half an hour on mechanical disk. The problem is that FIFA14 is on a mechanical disk... I could work on a "FIFA 14" folder with only database located on the desktop and then copy everything into the actual game folders. I'll keep an eye on the situation for a few days...

dear giggi, i repeat, i've never sent you reports about lineups that were wrong in the version of cp14 that is released publicly. never. why should i do that, what could be my goal? i never ever missed any single update (if you think that might be a case).

every single lineup report was right, for barcelona, for man.utd., for real madrid, etc... if you don't accept that kind of reports that is another thing, but it's not fair to call them "false". it sounds insulting to me, like i'm kinda of liar or something or like i want to undermine your amazing work, which is silly. you can have different opinion, but it doesn't make you right also, but don't call it "false" reports. i was crazy about football when i was younger (during 90s and 2000s period) and i know very, very much about rosters. in any case, if you don't belive me, there are dozen of sites with informations and stats.

all i wanted is just to help you improve the mod a little bit further based on my knowledge, nothing else. no hidden agenda from my side. last year (or something) i also reported about barcelona 96/97 lineup and formation and it was fixed in next version of cp14, same as real madrid 2003/2004 which was also fixed after my report. belive me, i spent hunderds of hours during my highschool and college days editing old fifa and pes games for myself (those were dial up internet times, there were basically no mods at least nothing like today or in last 10-15 years). ea sports and konami often did very bad job with lineups and formations, so i thought i could make them right, at least for myself.

bottom line, i love your mod and with these reports i want to give my little contribution, to help you make it perfect or as close as it can be perfect. i understand that you are dealing with lots of stress in personal life, i know you are having problems with editing databases, problems with creation master. i fully understand. and we are all blessed that we have someone like you and acicog who created this monster mod, dating back from fifa 10 (if i'm not mistaken). i just wanted to help, to contribute even with this small things. nothing else giggi.

Not false... but wrong. You wanted to make Flavio Coincecao the starter, you wanted to change the formation at Real Madrid 2002-03. I explained to you why they weren't good. In the meantime I wasted time saving the database 70 I was working in so I could change database... So I can't work in this way. I am forced to ignore reports if there are precedents with incorrect information. So… I ignore them.

Sorry to barge in this conversation, but I believe we are having a misunderstanding with two amazing modders:
1- I know MadbaLL from Evoweb, he has done a great job with PES 6, and his contributions are not intended with ill will in mind.
2-On the other hand, it is true that Giggi has manifested that making a correction takes him a lot of time, so unless is something urgent (ex. A missing player), anything that can be solved with just a sub in your own DB should suffice. Another option could be to send GIGGI your own DB with the modifications proposed, but only if they are extremely relevant to the experience.

My problem is the slow CM. This forces me to be sure not 100% but 1000% that the reports are correct. If I notice that various reports are incorrect, I am forced to no longer take them into consideration. At present it means 4 hours to update a team and only half an hour to check if I am working on another database. Put yourself in my shoes. it's already stressful working like this... if incorrect reports arrive... what should I do?
