Thanks for reminding me every time. XD Because compared to other decades it takes me more time because it involves changing the IDs of several players. Changes I also have to make on 5-6-7 databases each time.
These are the players who have changed IDs in recent weeks. I'll keep it written until ACICOG changes them on the CP16. Almost all players whose previous ID is part of a 2000s team. Obviously, in addition to the IDs in the database, there is the need to change the ID of any faces and various settings that are on the CP 16 such as boots or other. So, all things considered... YES, I DEEPLY HATE THE DECADE 2000.

I don’t know if I understand you correctly but the imagination Giggi is still adding teams in 5 years is not that bad.yada yada yada
we all know about 2000s and what Gigi thinks about it
And letting alone personal issues, kits are probably the same torment as 1990s kits (ok, maybe not THAT torment) for him.
The only thing I'm afraid of is reaching the limit with the mod without a limit, as I see no point whether he says "OK, I did everything I wanted, now I can finally end and move on"
I totally see him in the 5 years adding Romanian and Bulgarian leagues from the 1960s or 70s
The day he stops will be the landmark.I don’t know if I understand you correctly but the imagination Giggi is still adding teams in 5 years is not that bad.
In the opposite I am glad and graceful for each day this mod is improved and updated.
I think many of us would be very very sad if the day comes where all is done
I hope Giggis health and motivation will go on for the best patch in history of the game.
wish him all the best
That’s rightThe day he stops will be the landmark.
Nothing is gonna be the same.
I don't remember you saying about army service before, but I get your point.Thank you all for the kind words. You know that I have a personal aversion to the 2000s for various reasons. Calciopoli first and foremost. Calciopoli extinguished every passion I had for football. Also add my previous job (I was a soldier in the Italian army) which led me to follow little or no matches and tournaments. Since 2001 I haven't followed football like I used to and since 2006 I started to hate it. In fact, in 2006 I started making the first classic patch and it wasn't a coincidence.
Then there is the practical question of creating the files. I'm not a kitmaker. I try, I'm committed. Let's say I get by but I struggle quite a bit with certain details. If you notice, my kits from the late 90s are rare. I have made some but in a much lower percentage than the early 90s. I'm aiming to hammer the 90s in order to also have a sort of independence. If I have all the 90s I can do the 80s without having to ask anyone for anything, without having to stress anyone out. Once you reach 80, you move on to 70 and so on backwards, as was done for Serie A. For this reason, every effort I ask for is aimed at the 90s. Removing the 90s is like climbing Everest. Afterwards I only went backwards for about 100 years. At present it is also a waste of time to work on 2000 it openly. I prefer to open the doors 20-30-40-50 years backwards and provide much more planning and content of the patch than to do the decade 2000 where I have to depend on others 100% and which dies with those 10 years. Paradoxically I can complete the 80s faster than the 2000s (top 5 championships) because the shirts are simpler and because I don't depend on other users. Because I can't slave over the forum to get my shirts made. I'm not the type, you know me. I aim to try to do everything in the most independent way. I don't want to be a burden and I don't want to stress anyone out. I try to work with a minimum of pragmatism by combining tastes, needs and my limits as a kitmaker. If you complete the Top 5 nations for the 90s you have years of guaranteed development in your hands. If I focus on the 2000s everything remains stagnant, a huge and eternal open construction site. What's best in the end?
Having said that.... For me, editing is a hobby. If I didn't edit FIFA I would edit something else. It's my main pastime. I like taking a game and adapting it to my needs. I don't know how long I'll go on, I hope for another two or three years. But it depends on many things. Limits of the game, health, but also functionality of the tools. I would classify this option as indispensable. If the CM stopped working we'd all be in deep shit. Already the tool for making Wipes is dead. In the future, after a Windows update, the same could also happen to the CM or DB Master. However I hope to do another two or three years. Then in two or three years we will see. I've been in the FIFA editing business since 2004. I was 21 years old. Now I'm almost 41. Half my life... There are teams from the patch that were current teams when I started editing. When I started editing Messi had not yet made his debut with the Barcelona first team. So you also understand why for me 2000 is not truly classic. I was already here editing XD I saw and edited those teams. I am old.
Great to hear that there are others which share this passionI aprecciate you Gigi.
And Un telling you a secret, since 2019 I play every night the classic mod. I played all world cups, euros, confederation cups. Now im playing every single champions league
Thanks to you
We are now talking about the Jurassic. XDI don't remember you saying about army service before, but I get your point.
Thank you for just passionate work. Playing this patch allowed me to learn and get interested in a lot of football pre-21st century (I was born in 2002, so my "classic" football tends to be a lot more closer to the late 2000's - early 2010's), and to try and see how a game such as FIFA can be edited. In my opinion, this project represents the very best football Enciclopedia of them all, and the best football game period.Thank you all for the kind words. It's all great thank you.Let's try to recap everything a bit. Take stock of the situation. First of all I want to thank @TonyKroos because in the last few months he has churned out a quantity of sets that has allowed us to complete and flesh out several leagues. Let's start in alphabetical order.
Bundesliga
Many leagues already complete, others in the home stretch. I'll take on the early 90s myself because I have many templates and they will allow me to work quickly when the time comes. I don't rule out the possibility that he could play the entire 1991-92 Bundesliga before the summer
