I;m not sure what do you mean.. The cmc file should be downloaded from the link, then you open it in CM16, in the tournaments tab (red arrow). It wont retain the names, it would load as a "Trophy #" You will have to rename all the stages
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN STEP-BY-STEP HOW TO DOWNLOAD THIS FILE AND STEP-BY-STEP FURTHER ACTION

Hello! When installing the latest Patch update, Server16 stopped working for me. I can no longer assign scoreboards or movies or TV logos. Nothing.

Anyone else feels the same? Could they solve that? It is important to continue improving the period atmosphere.

Just wanted to say massive thank you to all who created this incredible patch and for those who helped with my questions to achieve the most accuracy I could with my own project.

I recreated EURO 2004, one of my favourite tournaments using this beautiful mod, I just wanted to share with you the results so far!

This year marks the 20th anniversary of one of the most iconic tournaments, Euro 2004! The European Championships visit Portugal for the first time ever, Courtesy of the incredible FIFA Classic Patch!

We find out which nations are the first to qualify for the quarter finals and which are the first to be eliminated on match day 2 in another exciting episode of EURO 2004!

The group stages comes to a close at Euro 2004 as 16 teams must be reduced to 8. Find out who qualifies for the knockout stages!

It's time for the quarter finals! Champions France take on hosts Portugal, England's golden generation battle future champions Spain, Underdogs Denmark rehash their Euro 92 final against Germany and finally, Netherlands take on Italy in a rematch of their Euro 2000 semi final!

It's better than watching today's football ,
Playing your favorite Era with these legends ...

Amazing leaders of this forum ,

I do have one question regarding the FIFA 16 Classic
Patch....

When Playing a tournament
Example ;

EPL 96-97 Tournament

When League is Done and you are the Champion
There's no TROPHY Presentation or
Stage .... Absolutely nothing...
It's that common...

Is anyone else dealing with that , and if so how can I fix it Friends....
What would be the right Guide to modify these changes

Any advice would be Massive...

Thank you Lads

Hello, thank you for your patch which is magnificent, I was interested in the Stadiumserver, what do the 3 numbers after the name of the stadium mean:

14=ESP - Camp Nou,5,15,0
35=1986 WC - Estadio Cuauhtemoc,6,3,0
and if I want to assign a stadium for Euro 1980 example:
59= ITA - Stadio San Paolo,?,?,?

Thanks, have a good day.

assign the grass pattern, the color of the net and the nationality of the police officers, you can leave everything at 0, you can assign directly by right clicking on the server icon in the secondary task bar in the assign stadium option before a match

You dont have to download it via CM16, if you already downloaded the file you dont need to do it again. Just import it from the tournaments tab (the one with the fifa world cup) and make sure you have the country acronym selected (otherwise the red arrow wont show)

Load competition patch, click yes when the dialog appears, select the file, click yes again when it asks you to import, rename the stages and copy the format to WC 1990 and 1994

The other option if for any weird reason you still cant import the cmc file is, forget about it, go to group stage in the WC 1986 tournament (or 1990 or 1994), add a setup stage after it (plus sign) and check keep standings and put the field the id number of the group stage and check sort by competition average, in the setup group select the six teams that finished third in each group. Then create another setup stage after it (you can rename it setup stage II, to avoid confusion) and check random draw, in the setup group select team 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the first setup stage, then in the round of 16, for the first 4 groups select each first placed team of groups A, B, C and D against A TEAM of setup stage II, check random draw event and avoid same group, putting in the field the id number of the group stage.

That way, if you play WC 1986 with USSR and finish 3rd in the group behind Hungary and France, for example, but you still got enough points to be among the top 4 third placed teams in the first round, you qualify to the round of 16 playing against a top placed team that wont be the top one you played against in the first round

I cant make it more thorough

Also, for WCs from 1930 till 1970 there should be replays for knock out matches that finish tied. The way to set this up in CM16 is adding a KO1LEG after the given knock out stage and select REPLAY, checking keep standings with the id number of the previous stage and also checking match replay. Then select in the knock out group the two teams from the previous stage and the winner of the replay stage for the next stage (unless you are doing this for the final)

For WC 1954 I have a schedule that has the four games that were played in each group during the first round instead of the six that appear currently in the patch. The problem is that team ids may differ from my game with the patch. In any case, that text file should be placed in a folder called "schedules" in compdata, the schedule in CM16 should only have 4 games (instead of 6) and in the settings.txt file for that stage it should say "schedule_year_real_0"

If two teams are tied in second place, you can add a stage where they play against each other, I'm not sure what the tiebreaker for this stage originally was. You could put KO2LEGS, ROUNDX, and Special Tie 2 leg to Regular Season Rank, with the id number of the group stage, but then for each group sekect the N. of Games to 1, and make sure there is only one leg in the calendar.

Then for next stage you take the winner of this stage

If you do this, you will always have the 2nd and the 3rd placed teams playing against each other even if they are not tied, you could just skip the game in the tournament or make the 3rd placed team lose forfeiting the match if you have the sideselect.big (i strongly recommend having this file, it is very useful)
