Every league in the world should standarize their medical check-up to Serie-A standard. The tight measurement and policy of a players physical condition and control over drugs has saved a lot of lives in Serie-A. Kanu and Fadiga for example. I read an interesting article about how the Serie-A gives a zero tolerance policy to players who have any strange symptoms with their heart conditions. The club will have to dealt with the matter until it`s completely solved via medical operation ( like Inter with Kanu ).
