i havent witnessed any drops in frame rate or performance at all.

man it's seem only running @ 1 or 2 fps(Frame per Seconds) maybe u should do some maintainence work on your pc. i suggest for a start u should defrag your pc and run a registry cleaner using any reg cleaning programs. after that try to play your game and see if it have any improvements..of course there's much more u can do to improve your pc's perfomance but just try this method, just for starting.

if you are running on vista there is a program called vista services optimizer that offers a gaming mode which kills all processes running that dont need to be when playing games on the pc, & can also be easily set back with the push of a button.

i use it & its a great program for gaming on vista.

And don't forget to set affinity to all cores if you have a multi-core (dual/triple/quad core) CPU like Q6600, E8400, I5, Phenom etc.
Also, set the framerate on 2 or maximum 3 in your cfg_pc_h.ini config located in data/cmn folder (I guess you play on High settings).

the game only uses 1 cpu, so setting the affinity to multiple is pointless.
set it to 1 & 1 only.

use this over windows option to set affinity, its a good program also.

make sure you download set affinity 2

Maybe for you yes, but for me NOT, is not pointless ! When I have more than 10 players on the screen with affinity set only on one CPU the game stuts alot, if I set the Affinity to both CPU's the game is way more smooth !
