Man , i really hate people like you who says that don`t know JUST a approximation at the release date (eg. this week , today , tomorrow .. ) you can`t give us a approximation date ?

But anyway, i was thinking, for you to get the patch closer to a "final" version rather than beta, you should try it on various machines that have windows xp (with sp3 installed), windows vista (with sp2 installed) and windows 7.
that way you will have tried and tested the game/patch on the most recent operating systems and service packs, everyone should always have the most recent updates anyway, so its a good starting point if you know what i mean.

see guys, the core problem isn't in the operating system. It's how you install the thing and what's already been your game that's all. By right, what you do is that you extract the whole folder in that .rar file into a certain location, (and DO NOT shift any files inside that folder to another location), double-click a mode, wait for the cmd screen to finish processing, and you should be fine. I have no idea what could've gone wrong.
