EA announces Champions League 2006/2007

I read the Champions League demo was available at the Xbox360 Marketplace (goldmembers only). Alltough it's just one half and a few teams.

Has anyone played it yet?

I been playing the demo for the last few days... its a better game then FIFA 07. The general gameplay just seems smoother, the way the player moves on the field, his passing... is almost comparable to PES in that respect. PES still a better game, but this UEFA is a step forward from some of the problems in FIFA 07.

I'm gonna play the full version tonight when I get home... can't wait.

Here's a question for PC version owners : are the kits the same format (iow do they use the same template) as Fifa07, or did EA change that yet again?

I have been playing the game for 4 days now and to answer your question the format is all the same. I like the game even if 90% of it is the same as fifa 07 but the tasks and competions are great.

I've been playing for a couple of hours now, but how do I get widescreen? I was able to do that with FIFA07 by editing some stuff in the profile file, but there's no widescreen entry in the UEFA 06/07. I can't bare the mellonheads anymore.

That's pretty accurate... one thing I can't find is the Fifa shop, have they taken it out or something? If you go into certain players you can see they have custom Nike boots, but you can't choose them with other players... so i'm wondering how you unlock them.

Also, are there any Nike footballs in the game?
