You realize that the complaints people bring here are the reason that you have a vastly better game in 2004?

If I produced something crap at work, and noone pulled me up on it, I'd forever be producing crap. If there are problems with the game, they need to be known, so that whoever is in charge of designing FIFA at EA can pull his finger out.

Other EA titles are just perfect. It is just FIFA which will never get better and which will never reache the quality of other soccer games. Maybe they worked hard but it look that EA just can not realize the essence of the soccer game. They think it is all about powerfull shots where u cant see the ball or allmight keepers who are able to katch a bullet between his teeth. I will play FIFA 2004 but i will enjoy other game which is coming soon and which has to be on first place on this forum and FIFA after it. It really deserves the first place. I think that everyone who playedd PES will agree. C ya

Actually, the first time I started to think they are lazy was when I looked at the AI files of this years' game. I don't know if you ever looked at the AI files of last years' game, but 95% of the variables they use are the same as last year with exactly the same values too so It's not that the computer played football that good last year, so they didn't have to change things this year, was it?

I just hope they will have individual AI-files for most of the players this year, because last year they could've done this allready, but they didn't (lazy? not enough time? hope it was the second). In the demo, the computer plays like ****, so I hope in the full version Real Madrid will at least try to keep the ball in their team instead of rushing forward without any knowledge of how football is supposed to be played.

So I'll wait and see, but if it's the same as the demo, I'm not gonna buy it and that would be the first time in 9 years.

Whats the reason of this argument anyway? Its the result that counts. fifa03 was so crap on gameplay but this year we have a better game that might not be perfect but it is still a much better
game. So what if they copy from other titles? if it is improving the game its welcome. Besides if you were in their position and could sell something every year by just doing minor improvements
why try to make it perfect? At the end EA is a business after all
