Yup i was at fifamexico.net and they said this....its in spanish, sorry i would translated to english but im short on time at the moment ,,,,maybe later on, or tomorrow but it says that the golies are made better, that you can now play the game with any vid card, the missing numbers and names will also be fixed, but it didnt say anything bout the headers :( ohhh and the freestyle control is going to be set more easily......here it is

Acabamos de recibir de parte de nuestro contacto en EA Sports: Jean Toledo, una BETA del parche oficial de EA Sports para el FIFA 2003, el cual tiene varias correcciones:

1.- Por fin los numeros y nombres atras de los jerseys funcionan en cualquier tarjeta
2.-El sistema de cabeceo se arreglo, ya puedes cabecear cuando estas solo
3.-Los porteros ya reaccionan mejor contra los tiros razos
4.-El boton Freestyle ha sido reediseñado para un mejor control cuando estas en la carrera
5.-El factor viento ya cuenta en los tiros libres
6.-Y la noticia mas espectacular de todas: ¡POR FIN PODRAS JUGARLO SIN IMPORTAR LA TARJETA DE VIDEO QUE TENGAS!

El parche sera puesto publicamente el dia primero de enero del 2003 y consta de un nuevo ejecutable y un nuevo ini.big.

Agradecemos de nuevo a Jean Toledo, representate de Latinoamerica en EA y a EA sports por sacar un parche tan rapido y tan bien hecho.

Mas informacion en las proximas horas.

So it was all just a joke then. Well its not very funny. I should've known Ea sports will not be making a patch. even if they make one I bet we won't be able to tell the difference. They won't have fixed :junior:
1, Game Freezing and have to press reboot (or crashing back to desktop etc)
2, Heading the ball
3, Internet play (it has the same problem every version so why do they bother?)
Easports just make me :f***:
