EA put no effort in whatsoever

just finished my first season on career mode, took me 2 weeks as i havent been playing the game much due to its mediocrity. I won the league with Arsenal and qualified for the champions league. I am horrified to find out that my group includes both Man Utd and Liverpool.... GODDAMNIT EA, what the **** are you doing. EVERYONE KNOWS no 2 teams from the same country cant be in the same champs league group, let alone 3!!!!!!!! this is just a lack of effort and its appauling...

Also, the career mode is so unrealistic. My team is now a joke as its so easy to buy players, and Arsenal having 33 million to splash out... everyone knows arsenal are short on cash.... anyway, having sold a few players, eg edu, parlour etc, i have managed to buy Hofland, Boumsong, Terry, Carr, Juanfran, Landreau, Joe Cole, Bowyer, Emre, Rosicky, Tacchinardi, Van Bommel, Kezman, Jeffers (back from his 'loan' to everton, but i had to buy him back...) and Alan Smith. How unrealistic is that???????

But everyone knows that these are only small problems in the game. The CPU AI, and awful goalkeeping are more important. I could write down at least a dozen more things that are ******* **** about this game, but i dont want to.

This game is piss poor!!!! Thanks EA youve really surpassed yourself with the TOTAL LACK OF EFFORT AND CARE YOUVE PUT INTO THIS GAME!

EA is a comercial machine who keeps releasing pure ****! I hate EA and every thing it stands for. I just pray to god that Konami will reconsider releasing Winning eleven 6 on Gamecube, here in europe! PLEASE KONAMI

I always kept my hope to EA but now I'm really dissapointed after being a fan from 96. OMG what a crap game, impossible drbbling system, **** keepers, **** bal physics, **** shooting system, **** ball control, very slow reacts n so on.
I'm really pissed off again n I'm gonna through away those CDs !!

Im playing on Proffesional and the keepers really suck when it comes to saving a rebounded shot. They get up so goddamn slow its unbelievable.

well I propose something to you guys who keep crying about FIFA... you get your hands over a project the size of fifa an make it yourselves, everything... then I'm sure most of us will still be playing FIFA (supporting valioso)...

Come'on make a game is very very difficult... if everyone could make one i bet we would have the best foot game, but not, so, instead of identifying problems, propose solutions.

don't make excuses for EA, they have enough money already. demand a complete game.

I am not saying not to criticize the game.. that you can have a go at all you want. But to insult the developers saying they dont try.. when most people here dont know what goes on into developing anything.. much less such a huge project like fifa.. in the little time they have to pull it off.. thats downright ignorant.. and I am not accusing you personally.

i mean ive been playing since 94 and it juss seems after 98 the game started to die out...tihngs enjoyed so much were taken out and things that shouldve been put in a long time ago are being slowly realeased into the annual game......this years game was impressive to me tho....EA did do everythin they sed they would and did a very good job improving over 03 (whew)

however to criticize the devlepoers and such is quite wrong cuz u really dont kno how much time they put into the game....thats why for such a big game it takes so much time to make....id like to find out how many hours were put into the game develpoing process from every corner of the game and i bet its a huge number.....

why dont u go get a loan from a bank and there u have the start of your own developing company buddy

Honestly just tell you guys, if you are really dissapointed by EA, try Pro Evolution Soccer. And you will find that your problems are solved.

coz...i think there is no way that can make Arsenal lack of money just like in real life

Hey You Are My Solskjaer how did you get an avatar like that? (It wasn't all Dudek's fault either because Hyypia didnt' stay with his man). Anyway I thought that our avatars could only be tiny! Or doesn't teh file size matter only the pixel res?

Oh and on teh thread topic I think FIFA 2004 was probly not made by genuine soccer fanatics like me and many of you guys so you can't expect FIFA games to ever address teh fine points. (To us they don't seem fine at all! but to EA who probly makes most of their money selling games in USA they don't really care).

Even teh player stats are so far out for every single team it is almost painful

umm...i also think there should be an extra stat for RVN. It could be called diving and he would have a perfect 100. Also he would be the only player with the ability to perform the skill. THAT would make me impressed with some effort from EA

Heskey, well Heskey genuinely is that weak that the breeze or breath of a nearby player is likely to cause instability. They should put that in the game, Heskey falling over at random intervals like when he goes to kick the ball or one of the other players turns to face him from ten yards away. They could call it the "how to weigh 220 pounds but have the balance of a 7 foot tall 20 pound one legged man" effect!

Some people say it's great but i bet they are the one's that have never played any other FIFA game in the past. FIFA2004 is okay but the game is too slow I dont have enough fingers to make all those off the ball, free kick, 1-2 pass, etc etc moves it's too hard!! Im glad i got the game as a gift cuz for sure i would not of bought it at all. Im glad some mexican teams are in the game but that is it. I think I play FIFA 2002 more than 2004 cuz it is faster, more easy to play, sliding into players is more better, and I got my creation centre where I got my updated Mexican league teams and it is more fun to play. Also what's up with all that SAVE this SAVE that crap. I spend more time saving games tournaments, BIO, and other crap. I hate that crap cuz it is slow!!!!!!!!!!
