Sorry guys but we've really been had with this one.
When/If you actually get it going it's not worth £30 if you've alrerady got 2003. Simple as that. If you have already got 2003 and think this is worth £30 of your hard earned cash then I'm sorry but you'd be better off putting your cash away and adding to it later for some nice new hardware or buy something else.

I've spent the whole afternoon getting constant lockups. Tried everything. Loaded the patch. Changed my resolution. Bumped he performance of my graphics card up and down all over the place. Changed my soundcard and hardware acceleration settings. I even tried to check out my drivers ("As recommended by page 24 of my superduper manual "Is your game crashing or locking up?" - bloody hell EA - is that it!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you really think we're that DUMB!)

Sorry, but I'm looking forward to taking this pile of rubbish back to the shop tomorrow.

P.S. I've got a 9600Pro card, P4 etc pretty decent system, everything else I've bought this year works fab (Homeworld 2, GP4, MotoGP2 etc) so it's not my system or how it's set up. It's EA NOT DOING THEIR JOBS PROPERLY.

Souness, I'm curious about how much is £30 in American dollars?
I wanna live in Europe one day. Maybe where Arsenal plays at or Madrid. Anyways, God this game has divided us up even more.

Firstly, I'm probably older than you.
Secondly, maybe there are 100's of blah, blah threads but this one's mine and hopefully if more people complain then maybe, just maybe, EA will eventually stop doing this and try to give value for money.
Finally, if you'd read my comments, you'd have noted by now that I've checked my drivers and they're bang up to date and I've tried changing my settings to no avail.

Hi Rab.
Long time no hear....
Sorry mate, there's bugger all wrong with the PC. Everything else flys on it.
This game's pish! Do you think it's worth 30 quid?
It's a mod for 2003 at best!
Even DeBoer's missing again for the second year running. Mind you, he's probably finished anyway so at least EA got that right by default!!

SR20etc...........

Sorry mate but I'm a long time fan of FIFA games. 2001, 2002 and 2003 were all decent enough and worth paying for each year to get better performance, updates, improved graphics and cinematics etc. The point of my post is that this isn't worth the money. It doesn't run well (look at the amount of people complaining - maybe it works for you but there's many of us who feel really ripped off!!
As far as my education goes, well I'm pretty sure that you'll find that State education in the UK is vastly superior in many ways to that of the US. If you've been privately educated then I apologise. It's not your fault.
PAUL. Thanks for your direction but I've been alll around the forum to no avail.

The game runs fine on my system Althon1.44(old CPU), Radeon8500, 768MB Ram, SATA 120GB Maxtor HD.
I use 1024x768 (32Bits); But just one question for EA, why do they remove the international tournament??? I played Fifa soccer started from Fifa9x (forgot the version but defintely is the first version from EA Fifa soccer)......:(

Hm...what kind of a game would be worth anything, if it would require one to buy a new computer in order to play it? Anyway Im sure its just a little thing in your system setup that noone knows about - all systems are different even if the hardware is exactly the same. But your definately not the only one having problems running the game smoothly. 4 of my mates + myself also have problems - and we run all other games perfectly otherwise.

Just return the game to the store and wait for *beeep* to be released ;) It'll probably run fine on your comp.

i think your right there should be a discount if you've bought previous versions as £30 is over the top for an upgrade thats actually missing internationals, champions league etc.
although if you wish to voice your protest you can so this year by purchasing PES3 on the PC!!

Souness, chill out man! The game is perfect! I've been playing it for a while now and I have no complains. Your comp is the problem.
