I think there is room for all the leagues. There are a lot of Koreans contributing to the FIFA community. Personally I don't play the K-League much but I wouldnt want it omited.

As for the chants, although this is a great move forward for EA it isnt quite right. The crowd singing sounds like it was made by one guy in a studio who dubbed his voice a few times...I beleive it's pronounced "yanighted" and not "yoooooooooonighted"

EA need to use some of there budget and send some guys over to europe with recording equipment and get them to attend some matches to record REAL crowd chants...now THAT would sound cool.

PORTUGUESE LEAGUE

Man if you want the Portuguese League for FIFA 2003 get it at www.fifa-mania.com/superliga. If EA don't make it to 2004 i'll make it again. :)

My view on this is why don't EA put different leagues in different versions... It's not as if one whole game is for the entire world because there's localisations for different versions...

Thus, in my opinion, they should put the K-League in the version aimed for the South Korean or Asian market, and put some other league in other versions...
Great... we'd get the Mexican and Canadian leagues... how great lol.

The Koreans kinda just hosted the World Cup, I think they deserve their league. Also Koreans buy the game probably more than any other region, so don't complain.

Putting all the stadiums in is pure rubbish, it takes way too much space. Having stadiums for all top teams and maybe 6 generic ones would be good. Besides, most stadiums look the same anyway.

haha, class, i think all carolinian males share that opinion.

Anyway, Korea is one of the main markets, therefore they should have the league. Maybe they shouldn't Omit it, maybe they should add more, that way everyone would be happy with the team selection.

Wait....this is EA we're talking about....ok, Nevermind.

baaah..

ea isn't gonna omit any leagues, esp. the k-league.. it's just not gonna happen.. they should just add all the missing leagues so it makes everyone happy. btw i think ea screwed up on all the ratings for the k-league b/c they are wayy too low, and maybe that's why everyone thinks the k-league is **** and want it omitted.

I think the first league we miss in FIFA 2003 is the Dutch one. But the reason that such leagues are not in FIFA 2003 is the licences.

For example, the top-3 dutch teams are asking to much money, maybe more than the top teams like Man Utd. and Real Madrid.

Besides there is no central point in Holland which does the negotiations with EA Sports. Negotiations must be done for each separate club. This means that the costs to include a whole dutch league is not affordable if you see what those 15 other clubs generate on money.

Dutch clubs aren't loyal to eachother so the problem is not only EA, I don't know the situation in Portugal but maybe it's something like that..... it's has to do with the image-right in some way.

I'm happy with the stadiums for now.... this is a big improvement. The maximum for stadiums is about 20 I think.... if you see how long it takes to deliver such work.

Intresting that each individual team is negotiated with...I was under the impression it was the particular countrys governing body (the FA for example) who spoke for all the clubs.

It's a puzzler that the lower English 1st division teams that have the incorrect names in the game should decline money from EA to be included in FIFA 2003

It's also weird that clubs would even get paid by EA let alone negotiate any offers to be included. After all the game is a massive advertisment for any club in the game...something that Man United must relish.
