After buying Fifa WC 2002 I went home all excited and couldnt wait to get the game going.

Now after 2 weeks I give up, I ve tried over and over to master the controls of the game, spent a whole weekend....about 16 hours playing almost in a row but I still dont understand such a basic concept as how you head a ball, which is extremely important in terms of both defense and offense.

This game is as I see it made for hard core football gamers with scientific knowledge and intuition on how to master a joypad or keyboard. I give up after 400 or more games in 2 weeks, I am no guru with a joypad and will never be.

Why EA has made it so difficult to master a header or a simple one timer out of the box is beyond my knowledge but I guess I can give the game away as a present to one of my friends because I give up. EA sports wins and I loose....way to go EA.

dont get all pissed at EA because you can't play the game well.

i just played through the world cup 2x and am starting to win most of the headers i go up for.

it just takes practice, but if you keep doing the same things over and over again, you arnt going to get any better.

change the controls around a little to better suit how you are playing, that helps too.

I have really tried to do everything I can think of in ways of changing the way I play. I just gave it another go. I chose to play against China in amateur to get an easy opponent but the computer kept asking me to change to pro cause I was beating China with up to 6 to 7 goals everytime. But whenever I change to professional I feel like the game is laughing at me, the chinese do whatever they want, win all battles and I end up loosing with up to 5 or 6 goals. I play 8 minutes each half.

My main problem is that I only win some headers in deffense, none in midfield or attack and I have yet to do a first timer. They always have to take the ball down with their chest first for some reason, and very often the ball gets robbed from them while they are doing that.
