EA Want Your Creation Centre Feedback

EA Sports would like to find out how the community is responding to the Creation Centre.

The first thing they want to know is simple. Do you use the Creation Centre? Can you please respond to that by voting in the poll above.

Secondly they want your feedback on how it can be improved. What kind of features should it have that it didn't have this year?

Please reply to this thread with just a list of features you want added and your opinions on the Creation Centre. They are the only kind of responses we want here, anything off topic or any posts not specifically including feedback will be deleted.

Thanks guys. Any feedback you give will go towards the Creation Centre for FIFA 2004.

how about being able to change player numbers, players boots, and be able to give all players specific faces for starters? a stadium editor thrown in would be nice too, and lets not forget, how about chaging data without totally messing up formations? :P

I agree with "grandmasta jozef".

Please EA give us the freedom to edit everything and include everything that we want to do. No limitations of file size and players as well as team etc...

Furthermore, I think it's not against the law and licence that we create new leagues because it did not come from you, EA...

Give us easy ways to edit like just put bmp or jpeg files for new kits and badges as well as the ingame pop-up.....

Two words : IT SUCKS !!!!!
Yes it is, but with a good fix it could be great. First of all, it deletes saved games whenever you change and import something. And then you can`t import spesific faces, which really anoysme, and last but not least you can`t change the player`s boots. If you take a look at the FCDP program from last year, the program shows us in real-time how a new installed face and kits are performed in the game, which is very helpful to be sent as screenshot. EA really need to improve this fat 30 MB`s useless editor. I hope they keep their promises.

in CC we need to:
1/ edit all player info/atributes that are used in the game (name, age, weight, height, nationality, face, hair, haircolor, skin color, nationality, shirt number, position in the team (starter/subst/reserve), position on the pitch (goalie,...,striker), attributes (skills)
2/ edit all team info/attributes that are used in the game (team name, nationality, bankroll, kick takers, captains)
3/ create new full-featured leagues (league, national cup, best teams to european cups, promotions, relegations)
4/ move teams from one league to another
5/ assign home+away+3rd+goalie kits to the team
6/ assign team logo, flags, banners, chants to the team
7/ export all changes into one package that could be distributed through the internet

CC for FIFA 2004? NO!!! We need an upgraded CC for FIFA 2003 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And we need it to be easy to use ( user friendly ), don`t forget not just editing, but added new faces to be used in the game for players who don`t have spesific faces, assign new stadiums maybe ??? Well, to tell you the truth, I don`t think that EA would listen to this, since they have a very good reputation of making fans hope come true three years after the fans told them. So we can only expect improvement happens maybe on FIFA 2006... ( Example : gameplay, we`ve been whining about it since FIFA 2000, when do they fix it ???? FIFA 2003 !!!! )

being a moderator and also a webmaster of a fantasy site that depends on such a program, i'd like to see these features for the Creation Centre.

+ Replays, I think these have to be reconsidered, an external program/utility should be welded into the Creation Centre, so replays are more accessible for all.

+ Editabilty (Great Word)

The creation centre lacks this ... the no. of players that be allowed in a package is a sham ... it should be unliminted.

Also, merging packages, try that EA ...

thats my piece :)

Study FCDB And Fed well for a week or so, and then try to upgrade the CC. The only plus the CC has over the other two produced by the COMUNITY is that it can export-import ready packages. Evrything else should be like FEd. Team management should be in CC, and we should be able to edit starplayers names and look too, not just all the normal players. For example: Del Piero doesn't have long hair anymore, and I think people should have their god damn right to decide whether they want a longhaired Del Piero or a shorthaired! Players like Cafu also have a first name: Marcos Cafu, Vitor Borba Rivaldo, Da Silva Roberto Carlos. If you don't want or can't write the whole name, let US do it! I undestand the structure of the game is real different and there probably won't be any solution to the formations problems and th number problems, but at least let us edit starplayers! I think that you should have made sure little things like being able to change the team captain and numbes for the players were enabled before putting up this new restrictive structure around this great game! Because Fifa 2003 IS great as it is, but it's betrayal like to offer a possibility to edit the game and then let people find out it's restrictive! Then don't do it at all!

Need to be able to alter team data without it screwing up the lineup.
Tried to create a generic black kit as the Everton 3rd shirt which resulted in the lineup being changed to players in the wrong positions with the wrong numbers. Goalkeepers playing out and outfield players playing in goal!

It would also be better if we could import more than one package at a time without having to try and merge them together

All I've used it for so far is to add EA's own CC extras and to add 2 chants to Everton
Can we add more chants please!

I agree with all that has been written above, in particuliar what Lukas Svoboda said.
The main reason I don't use the CC right now is because it slows the game. It takes sooo much time to load a game that it makes it impossible to use.
I think the programmers ??? from EA should study the structure of Fed .This program was only 4Mb and user friendly.
There are there many people like me whose main occupation with the game is to update it ,to make it closer to reality.
And it is impossible with the actual CC with the result that a lot of people will stop playing the game after a while !

EA, can u please improve the CC, it sucks...when i installed a package, my saved games are not being able to played....

CVS Stilton

To improve the CC for Version 2, I'd like to make the following suggestions:

(1) The present version does not allow you to allocate numbers to players. Given the attention to
detail with the graphics, this seems like a glaring omission and people are having to use Microsoft
Access to sort it out. An ability to assign numbers is a must.
(2) Editing teams in the CC currently causes rosters and team numbers for in-game teams to change.
Again - correcting this is essential.
(3) Created teams are only available in Friendly mode. It would be good to see a return to last year's
system where created teams were available for any Custom Cup tournament. I'm aware that the CC
has taken over some of the role of the Custom Cup but it would do no harm to have both options,
particularly as...
(4) Every time a package is loaded, all saved games, team management and options are lost. This
decreases the flexibility of the package idea - ie that you can import friend's packages and stuff from
the internet. You can - but only if you start all leagues and competitions from scratch.
(5) The ability to create kits and supporter's graphics is great, but to create a league of, say, 20 teams
would take a very long time. More 'generic' kit types would be a useful inclusion. There's been 40 or sso kit varieties for as klong as I can remember - this year we only have 10.
(6) The option to have 32 team knockouts and 24 team leagues has been dropped this year - and
again this decreases the flexibility of the product.
(7) The Free Cam and Zoom options are absent this year. I'm straying onto potential F2003 patch
territory here but considering the effort you've put in to making the graphics superb, if ever there was
a game that needed zooming in abilities, it must surely be this one.
(8) Being able to define our own ref strictness and weather (not to mention, as was the case long
long ago, allocating stadia to teams) is preferable to having it done for us and again, I can't see that
it adds anything to the game to take these features out.
(9) Any changes we make, whatever the limitations of the software, must at least be importable into the game. At the moment, not all my edited kits are loading up.
(10) Ultimately, editability is where it's at. Even RPG games - which used to just involve moving from one 2D room to another - are beginning to incorporate editing features and zoom cams. A full blown stadium editor is probably a long way off but some sort of modular approach may be possible - mix 'n' match stands etc - just to provide a bit of customised flavour.
(11) Surely - surely - changing one strip of one team can be achieved without having to gobble up 30MB of hard disk space.
(12) Why does the CC have to be separate from the main game - it was much better when it was incorporated into the main body of the software.
(13) More control over which teams play which in K/Os would be useful. Recreating this year's Champion's League is not possible because in addition to there being a limitation of 16 teams in K/O competitions, we have no way of controlling which teams go into which groups. Have a look at the Character Generator for DnD 3rd Edition by Wizards Of The Coast - it has a drag n drop interface for skills and attributes that could be used to drop teams specifically into league and K/O 'slots'.

If I think of anything else, I'll be back. As I've said elsewhere in these forums, most of these changes are of the "admin" variety and ought to be perfectly achievable by programmers. Compared to getting the gameplay right, this ought to be the easy bit.

and what about having players wearing earrings, armbands, necklace's and tapes over the socks and that shorts under the game shorts such as ronaldo has
i think it would be great if we could assign that kinds of things to players

but i first have to see if they really would like to put another version of cc

but it would be great if they do that cuz this version sucks

and i hate newcastle they've put my lovely feyenoord out of the champions league

gongrats newcastle sups.

Creatin Centre vs.2 wishlist!

Hello guys I have a 64MB video card, a brazilian (portuguese language) FIFA 2003 and a english version of EA Creation Centre because there ins´t a Creation Centre portuguese version. I am having some problems with Creation Centre and below I write what is going wrong with my game:

01- After I install my packages with Creation Centre, during the game all my team management are ruined and all team and league names disappear not allowing me to manage the ruined teams.

02- During the game I can´t see the players numbers and names in their jerseys.

Please does anybody know how can I solve those problems???

This is my next Creation Centre version wishlist:

01- Correction of these bugs above.

02- Posibility to manage the teams direct from Creation Centre (line ups, kick takers, captains...)

03- Posibility to edit the players jersey numbers.

Thanks!

Dude, I think what that guy meant was something like FCDP. You see, FCDP access directly to the database file in the game, and also directly change it when we edit it, so when we save it it won`t delete saved games. CC kinda like replacing our default settings with the package, so we can`t access our saved games everytime we use CC. Besides an in-game editor is not that bad, for some editing like sleeves and boots or hair, it`s much more practical to edit it directly from the game. A separate editor is good for kit installing, face, and banners.

The CC is the ****test editor I have ever seen. Come on EA, was the mission this year to make editing as hard as possible for us??
The kit import system is really stupid, I hate the fact that you cant create a competition until you create the teams, and you cant create the teams until you create the players.
You cant assign a stadium to a new team, you can only have a maximum of 20 teams in a new competition, so much for creating the nationwide 1st division which has 24 teams!!
There isnt any option to import a kit picture for the kit selct menu in-game, so please put that in.
No specific face option, no option for boot colour, no option for player accessories.
There is no way of assigning commentary to a player, likeif you created a new player called Ferdinand you should be able to choose Ferdinand in the commentary for that player.
For the kits you should simply have a box which you type the ID of the kit, and then we can import the kit into the kit file ourselves.
What about being able to select a crowd colour, and crowd population in a percentage, like Wimbledon get about 500 fans every match, which a small percentage of the stadium capacity.

Thats all I can think of at the moment, and BTW we want a new creation centre for 2003, not 2004. I think a lot of people are really pissed off with EA this year so EA better fix it quick.
One thing I notice every year is EA make something worse, this years its the CC.
