Dual booting between XP Pro and Win ME and game is same old slo mo on both.

However, with P4 2.53GHz, Geforce4 - 440MX I can get a very decent game out of 800*600 low detail, still slows in the penalty areas mind you.

I will buy a radeon 128MB 9600 if the full release version of the game behaves the same way as the demo, as it is Vid card intensive rather than processor intensive, so the only cure if the full version is the same, is a new vid card.

Apart from the tweaks having to be made, its a freakin awesome experience, I have the full PS2 version but its really, really nice to play a decent footy game on a PC at last.

Even at the low detail setting I still think at that setting that it looks as fantastic as the PS2 final release.

Now I can play PES3 AND still have the telly on in the background to keep a wee ear and eye out on the world, that I definitely miss when I have a PES night on the PS2 as the TV has to go off :)

Something else I can recommend, I have a Saitek P3000 USB cordless digital/analogue game pad. That's the one with the two sticks like a PS2 pad, and its SUPERB once you configure the buttons and stuff, I get a really brilliant gaming experience out of the demo now.

Yeah, bring on this full monty PES3 PC job NOW! Just under 2 weeks to wait now ;)
