ECP Access Editor v2.0 released!

Hi all,

I would just like to inform you guys that the second version of my Access Eeditor is finally done!
Please read the readme file before doing anything!
PS! This editor does not import graphics such as kits, logos....
I hope you like the editor, cast a vote in what you think.
And do not hasitate to write me on what should be improved or removed or added.... and so on.

Filefront is one of the worst places ever to download from, it's so awkward and annoying and its proved itself yet again by not allowing me to download the editor

Anyone know if this is hosted anywhere else? Somewhere where you can just click a direct link and not have to go through ten pages only for it to give you an ftp where you need a user/pass to get in?

If you can supply a free host with unlimited bandwidth and memory space, I think nobody would be using filefront. Are you volunteering?

Anyway, the most common problem with Filefront is that ppl do not turn off their download managers.

And yes, the editor is brill.

Well, my sugestion is for next version, I want to be able to install/import the changes I made without using CC, so I won`t delete saved games. I read that it`s hard to do tough , but I`ll wish you luck with it.

Maniac you know my opinion about the editor. I have no words to describe it. It makes roster editing very,very,very easy.
And i want to thank you 'cause the editor helped me to release my romanian league patch. I hope that soon you'll finish your bosnian league too.

But....first problem here, i read the readme carefully but when i start the new access editor 2.0 i can´t push the buttons:
"Add or Edit Teams" and
"Add or Edit Players"
I mean the show inactive ??? All other Buttons "Kits etc." works for me.
There are many Users in Fifacity with the same Problem, how did this work?
Please give us support

I made it very clear in the readme file:

Access 2000 or XP
Properly install English Creation Centre
Install "Art_setup.exe" wich came with CC
Make sure you have the following folders innside CC\Art:

defHeads
Heads
ECPAccess

hope this helps

I have Access XP and i have the englisch Version of Creation Centre, i have DefHeads and Heads in CC/Art Folder, i have the "ECPAccess" in this Folder . Editor 1.0 works fine, and this will not run

file front's fine, if the peer-to-peer thing doesnt work for you just download it directly from the server. It works great for me

hey, I installed it and everything seemed to go fine, but I editted david beckham to david starke, and then closed it, but in the game its still david beckham, what did I do wrong? and also, I get this error message when it starts up

you have to run CC and install a blank package
this installs the changes made with access to the game

Version 2.1 !!!

Hi all

Well It seems that some ppl have problems in running the players option. So I will release a new version NOW. But it is TWICE the size ( 6.5MB )!
It is called ECP AccessEditor 2.1.
PS! This in NOT a problem in the editor, but with the Art files that your PC can't reconize. This is only for those who have probelms with version 2.0!

For those who have PCs that are 500Mhz or lower, it does take time to open the player option due to the loading time of the images (faces..).

I HAVE TESTED THIS VERSION ON 2 DIFERENT PCs AND IT WORKED PERFECT!!! IF YOU GET THE SAME ERRORS, I CAN'T HELP YOU SINCE THE PROBLEM IS NOT IN THE EDITOR.

I have different problem (with both versions 2.0 and 2.1): I have no options to choose on some pull-down menus, specially in the "add or edit teams" form

kits: no ball types
formation/stadium: no formations, no stadiums (see screenshot)

"add or edit players" - player info - no kit taker options

When viewing a team's players, can we view the players in their positions? E.g.

Dudek GK
Carragher LB
Henchoz LCB
Hyppia RCB
Babbel RB
etc

Hi Lucas,

Well it looks like you have choosen the option to update the old database, right? In this case you forgot to import two important TABLES:
- Formations
- Stadiums
These must be imported for the funcions to work.
if the problem remains, send the database to me.

i hope this is the answer to your question:
If you go to the Teams option, and then to the last button, Players. There you have a list of the players in that team. but it is not shown in the GK,LB,RCB... style but like this: Goalkeeper, Left Back...

Maniac I also have this problem. I tried to re-import the formations and stadiums tables but the drop down menus are still blank. I am using Access 2002.

Also I am wondering about the error when CC tries to install the file. It occurs during the exporting of saving team part. see this pic http://www.brisket.ca/ecp_cc_error.jpg

hi

1) Remove Form: Teams, Table: Formations and Stadiums
Add Form: Teams, Table: Formations and Stadiums. at the same time. try it.

2) That error is a weird one. Try going to CC and click on the:

name of the league where the team is located
name of the team you have created\edited
on the "+" icon in front of the Team name

and see if an error comes up? and thell me what the error says.
