Released yesterday, but I cant be bothered to post news here until now



"ECP DBI, the original DBI editor for FIFA 2003 is now back with a version 2. With a revamped GUI, it looks a much more professional program. That's not all. Now with add team function, you can create the team that you like, add the players you want, giving you REAL freedom in customising YOUR FIFA. Also, you can modify the teams in competitions, so if you fancy seeing Sunderland in the Champions League (!) then you can do it.

And more, this is only seen as a minor update, since a TOTAL revamp is planned in the future, with complete rewrite of the code. So watch this space!"

Do I need all the previous versions of ECPDBI ? And my comp **** up a few weeks ago, ever since then ecpdbi ver 1.2 doesn`t work anymore. It show error no 339. I`ve been searching around for the solution but I just can`t find it . . .

for any error, there's no use just giving me some random number. Tell me more info, like when the error exactly occurred, the FULL error message, what kind of dbi files(edited or not) are you opening, etc etc. The more info you give me, the more likely the prob will be solved.

And it requires previous versions (1.1 and 1.2, not 1.0)

sorry to make it look like I am doing a Microsoft (adding bugs deliberately so that you have to get the next version), but it was a genuine mistake

anyway, apart from fixing that tiny little bug, I also improved the "create team" function slightly.

I've noticed than the Fifa's Editor like FCDB XP or ECP DBI have problems with Boot Raptor. If you modify the fcdb's files, and you have Boot Raptor actived, you can't play some games in FIFA as the Championship Club or some game of Champion's League .... ( the game load and in the end he come back to windows ). The team who have many problems with this is Real Madrid .
That problem can be fixed in future versions ? Thank

I found a bug in ECP DBI 2.1...

Whenever I go to select the team AGF Århus from the Danish Superligaen, I get the following error in the attached pic...

The DBI is edited but I didn't edit that particular team.

I think i saw a thread on this before. Its because you have too many boots assigned to the two teams you are playing with. I think

Here mate, and it happens whenever I try to open ECPDBI, just open it. And I use the ver 1.2. I can`t even enter the main page :

maybe you can send me the dbi files that you are working on, then I can open it with my debugger and find out what's wrong.

yes, that's definitely a problem with FIFA running out of memory because there are too many textures to load. Not a problem of invalid dbi files. This is also one of the reasons why I suspect, EA only let certain players to have boots in original FIFA.

But why all the match in friendly mode works and in the Championship Club, they don't ?

most probably because in Club Championship, there are more textures to be loaded.
