In player edit mode when changing the Names on the back of shirts , is there any way to change the colour used ? ie Celtic the Names are in green , is there a way to change the Names to Black without making a mess of the imported strips?

Go to edit mode and modify team. Choose to edit their strip and then choose 'name on strip'. Click on 'edited version' and you can change what colour is used on numbers etc.
