I did my best on this one. It's going to take a good reflex to get the gleam off of these boots. In the picture it looks almost as though even the white has a reflective sheen, but this could just be an issue of the lighting.

Note that the texture is not perfect when looked at on the model in a program like CGFE. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure this has to do with the texture not being perfectly fit to the model, and it should be no worse than any errors on the green and black pure control... but I don't know because I haven't looked at it in-game. Credit to Xuskan for the original texture and the rx3.

For the model, you have two options:

The first one (and the one I prefer) was made by ac12 and can be found in his thread:

This model will change the default width of the ankles of all players in order to create a better fit for the sock. The only thing about it is that it makes some of the formerly ankle-tight boots seem loose by comparison.

The other option is to use the original model, created by Xuskan (or at least provided by him, as the date indicates that it is an EA model):

Very nice! Although I should inform you that xuskan has released his psd template of the purecontrol. So it would be easier and with a better result to achieve

I tried to edit alex's brightmango boot into the blackout version, too. I wanted to make a version that look a bit dodgy like some do irl. I haven't seen them in game yet though.
