Editing Camera Height & Zoom Settings

Is there anyway to change the camera hight setting for stadiums more than the default allowed level.

For e.g. Old Trafford camera hight stops at 5 when you are lowering it & O'dromo hight drops all the way to 0.

The lower the better IMO especially for night games.

I tried to change the settings in the db in the camera hight & camera zoom columns. But it doesn't do anything. Is there anywhere else I can edit this?

I tried that once as well with no success, many of those stadium settings aren't editable apparently. Have you tried changing cl .ini cam values? I created a zoom for the pro cam that moved in so close I couldn't see my player's body when running with the ball.

For closer zoom, create a cl .ini file and add:

PRO_CAM_ZOOM_MAX = 100
PRO_CAM_ZOOM_MIN = 0.025

I play at 14 zoom which gives a nice closeup of your player. At 17 zoom your player disappears and all you can see is the ball in front of your feet which sounds about what you want.

Same as last year, no matter what values you add via ini some stadiums have a limit on lowering that stops at about 5. It means you have to exaggerate the height value so that when you hit 5 its very low .. but its hard to balance.

My current CL.ini is:

PRO_CAM_ZOOM_MAX = 100
PRO_CAM_ZOOM_MIN = 0.025
CAMERA_ZOOM_MODIFIER_BROADCAST = 0.020
CAMERA_HEIGHT_MODIFIER_BROADCAST = 200
CAMERA_HEIGHT_MODIFIER_DYNAMIC_V2 = 200
CAMERA_HEIGHT_MODIFIER_DYNAMIC = 200
CAMERA_ZOOM_MODIFIER_TELE =0.06
CAMERA_HEIGHT_MODIFIER_TELE = 1200
CAMERA_HEIGHT_MODIFIER_END_TO_END = 600
CAMERA_ZOOM_MODIFIER_END_TO_END =0.05

There are angle and clip codes but I have no idea which cams they're for and if they work:

CAMERA_FARCLIP_VALUE
CAMERA_LENSANGLE_VALUE
CAMERA_NEARCLIP_VALUE

You could try replacing CAMERA with whichever cam you're using and see if those codes work for that cam.

intersting, ill give that a go..the angle is the issue when you zoom in enough like old dynamic camera..if you play backwards at times the camera looses the ball , too slow to catch up

Come to think of it and looking at the above-listed codes...

CAMERA_ZOOM_MODIFIER_BROADCAST = 0.020
CAMERA_HEIGHT_MODIFIER_BROADCAST = 200

...the clip and angle codes might work if the cam type is added to the end, such as:

hmm as this been patched..just had a pc update and then my edited cameras where all over the place..adjusted and now they are great
