Editing database and loading saved games

Hi, a funny thing happened to me, I edited my game in CM10 (added adboards, kits) then the game would crash when I loaded saved games. But I reinstalled the game, then installed Stankan's crowd patch and some russian grass patch and when I went in CM10, the adboards I previously added were there!! but they were assigned differently.. so I'm pretty sure there must be some way of editing the database without affecting saved games.. but obviously not with CM10, does anyone know how?

If the Patchs installs in a 2. Fifa10-Folder. There you can see whether the ID's fit or adjust even again. Make a new CMP and import in your Fifa10.
However, you can also with a CMP of all on Replace place, then, nothing is entitled.

I don't understand, how do i see the ID? And how to make a new CMP? And what does nothing is entitled mean? :(

Graphics files importing don't affect career saved games. They affect it when you go to assign them changing the ID to teams, players and so on. In that case you are going to edit the database, so loosing your saved career :D
That's what happened with you... You did not uninstalled properly the game and when you re-installed it, the adboard graphic files were still there, but not assigned to their teams because you had restored the original db file :D
When you will re-assign the adb to the teams, you will re-loose your saved career. Ok?

i see :'(, but wait.. they don't reappear when after i reinstall the game, they reappear after i installed stankan's crowd patch and another grass patch
