Editing Potential Guide

Hey guys, stuck with stupid problem. Can't edit player's potential rating. I tryed to edit with DB master and File master, but when i regenerate BH, my game starts, to crash on messi logo. I'm, sure, that i missed something, and this problem is very difficoult for me. Help young moder, pls.

You don't need filemaster to edit a player's potential. Only DB Master. With db attributes, you don't need to regen either. Usually just reset squads in game. If you're getting a crash, it's because you did something else besides the db edits.

To use DB master, i have to create .xml databases first. And this is what i have to do with my file master...

Load the two db files in DBM.
Export the tables into an empty folder.
Edit the potential value in the players table using Excel.
Import the tables back, then save.

That's the whole process.

try to regenrate with cg

Load the two db files in DBM.

I opened db master, but i can't find any db files.

when u open the db in db master it will first ask u to open an xml file, select the fifa_ng_db-meta.xml in the fifa16/data/db folder, then it will ask you to select the db file, choose fifa_ng_db.db from the same folder, this will then load up all the tables. if you dont have those two files in that folder u will need to export them from the data_startup.big and then regenerate before you try to load them in db master

Opened my File Master, found data_startup.bid. There are alot of files in it. So i just mark them all, and then export to into DB folder, that i created in Fifa/data, yep? After this, i just regen Bh, and then do my all job with db master?

Very smart, but with this tutorial, i've got wonderful problem - shutting down with messi logo. And said about data.startup.big.
And about data.startup.big - db master don't open it. When i chose db files, it showes me error, i skip it, and then it just do not load db's...
