Hello All,
Like many of you I'm a big fan of career mode, though I personally much prefer playing on an Xbox or Playstation to a PC. I have quite a few gripes about career mode, but my biggest one is the way that certain young talents (particularly fullbacks) are criminally underrated by EA. For example: Dodo (Roma), Moreno (Sevilla), Coleman (Everton), Rodriguez (Wolfsburg), Van der Wiel (PSG), Van Aanholt (Chelsea), McLaughlin (Liverpool), Clyne (Southampton), Fryers (Spurs), Boilesen (Ajax), Smith (Liverpool), Riedewald (Ajax), Bellerin (Arsenal) and Cancelo (Benfica) are massively underrated in terms of overall, potential, or both. It's hard to play an enjoyable career mode when you're forced to buy De Sciglio and Shaw every time.
So I was wondering if anyone knew how to do one of a few things:
1. Modify the database for the Xbox version of the game. I've gathered that I'd need to decrypt and re-encrypt the game so that I could get at the database, likely with DB Master. However, I don't have the technical expertise to do that and I'd like to know if anyone can help me.
2. Modify the game so that potential, like the other ratings, is an editable quantity. I've got no problem with starting the game with edited squads and edited players. If I could edit player potential and make fullbacks have the ratings they deserve, it'd be much more enjoyable for me.
3. Think of any other way to make it so that players that are somewhat underrated can still reach relatively high overrall scores (83-86) in-game.
If anyone can help at all, I'd be very grateful.
