Wether Italy win 1-0 or 3-2 ,wait ,actually I rather have a 1-0 win then 3-2 cause the reputation of our defense will go down and since we dont score much ,our team would be in chaos .Anyways,I wouldnt say anything about Italy right now ,cause Id like to see Italy with Totti and Vieri in the lineup instead of Del piero or Del Dildo.

When England fail to qualify for wc2002 maybe the plonkers in the FA will get their act together with England. They can start first with restricting teams in English league to 2 foreign players MAX!

Come on how long will it take to figure out foreigners are killing English youth!!
Take away 2 foreigners and Chelsea will be not such a hot contender in the Prem. anymore. WAKE UP!!

ERICTHEKING: English football has a future yes, but I'm saying when will FA restrict foreign player limits??.....think about it look at Arsenal, Man utd, and Chelsea all big teams...right?
Well naturally you'd look at those teams for national team players, but as you may realise over half these teams are FOREIGN!! I have nothing against foreign players, infact there good for the league to a certain extent. Think about it before you chose to disagree.

Please guys stop it!

This argument is pointless since both teams played without some good players in a match that counted absolutely nothing. I am damn sure that 10 out of the 11 players had their heads somewhere else, but not in "Oh God, I want to win this great game".
You English fans should be happy that you have some promising young players (Heskey looked really good) - which also goes for Italian fans.
You won't be able to tell who is better until both teams will meet at full strenght (Vieri, Scholes, Totti and whoever) on a neutral pitch in a crucial World Cup game. And then it will be a damn close call I think. So please stop insulting each other.

To Paolo Rossi: I remeber how you cirisized Italy for playind defensivley, and during Euro2K turned into a defensive-guru.
The point is the following: Totti is by far Italy's best player at the moment, and all striker Trap calls are out of form. Delvecchio is dry in the Serie A and Inzaghi has 1 or 2.
Totti plays midfield but has scored 5 so far, and Vieri is picking up form fast. When these 2 will be back to play along with Fiore and another striker, Italy will score some goals. But the basic system won't change, It's the players who make the difference.

Yeah this topic is dead now, that game is long gone, and forgotten.

Good luck all!

I agree with you that Totti is Italy's best player at this moment ,infact I compare him to Zidane.I know many of you wonmt agree ,but Ive seen Totti play in the last few weeks and he makes beautiful plays .And he is only 23 ,wait till he reaches at his prime wich is still in a few years .
To Zambrotta:First of all ,i dont like when they play defensively throughout 90 minutes ,but I dont mind seeing them defend after they score one goal .Btw,Inzaghi hasnt played much for Juve since they keep putting Del Dildo on every game and rotating thei second player up front between Inzaghi,Trezeguet and Kovacevic.
