Don't blame Seaman either - Brazil were down to 10 men for 33 minutes + injury time and still dominated the play. I feel sorry for Ronaldinho - not only is he the ugliest player in the world, the poor guy will miss the semi-final when he shouldn't IMO have got sent off.

OK don't go blaming the referee for the result, don't stoop the level of the Italians. He had a good game up until after the send off, he started panicing and did some silly things...but that's football. I am a referee and that was definately a send off, did you see the trailing arm? Well that was a very very very red.

As for Seaman, well who else can you blame for the goal, Uglydihno was looking for a cross more than anything and as a goalkeeper (yes I am one of those as well) he was so far out of position and wasn't moving his feet.

That Rivaldo should be sighted for play acting, caution the guy for Feigning Injury, yes you can caution them for that.

And if Rivaldo should be sighted for play acting so should Beckham and Seaman. And Ronaldinho´s goal was a master piece, even though the keeper was a bit foward not a lot of players can hit the ball like he did. Ive seen him score a couple of goals like that, prettending to cross but kicks to the goal.......

I did read the cross you stupid idiot, I was not directing the commets at NLFC it was more so at those who 'may' decide to blame the referee.

This was a very weird game.. I started watching from about the 32nd minute and England were 1-0 up. But they were defending deep in their own half, that had to go wrong at some time. Brazil just kept the ball better troughout the game, after the 1-1. Then the 2-1 came and then it was done. Blunder by Seaman, that's a fact but England didn't start to pile on the pressure and that has been their problem troughout the tournament, they can't really make the play and force the opponent back. And to be homest.. how many clean cut chances have England created in this tournament? Not much, not one at all actually.

England didnt play well enough anyway, Brazil used the correct tactics so I guess they deserved to progress.

Well, from every angle that I saw Ronaldinho didn't touch him with either his arm or leg. I would have given him yellow on first glance, and not booked him if I was watching the replay.

I think I'm the only one that likes Rivaldo around here. He is a smart, heady, technical player. If you can get away with something do it. If you're injured, go down. And if you lead Brazil over a lethargic England team, do it. The game is not all skills, and passing, and such. There's much more. Diving is part of the game, and without it there would be far more injuries. I've played in America for many years, I'd say we dive the least, and there is way more fighting though tackles, injuries, and of course an important aspect of the game is absent.
