England squad for Friendly against Holland

Well the Squad is out for next weeks freindly against Holland. Here it is:

N Martyn (Leeds), D James (West Ham), R Wright (Arsenal).

R Ferdinand (Leeds), S Campbell (Arsenal), G Neville (Man Utd), G Southgate (Middlesboro), P Neville (Man Utd), W Bridge (Southampton), L King (Tottenham).

D Beckham (Man Utd), P Scholes (Man Utd), S Gerrard (Liverpool), N Butt (Man Utd), J Cole (West Ham), D Anderton (Tottenham), T Sinclair (West Ham).

M Owen (Liverpool), E Heskey (Liverpool), D Vassell (Aston Villa), M Ricketts (Bolton), C Powell (Charlton), F Lampard (Chelsea), K Phillips (Sunderland).


I am delighted that Vassel, Rickeetts, W Bridge Phillips and Sinclair are in the sqaud. Not allot of people Now about these players so they have something prove. He didn't add Fowler, Sherrignham or Andy Cole because he wants to give the Youth a chance.

What do you people think about the squad????

I think it's a great selection, although I would've liked to see Jermaine Defoe. But it's still great. Now we get to see what our youth could do for us.

Yeah its a pitty about Jermaine Defoe, because he is the hottest prospect for the future England Sqaud without a doubt, But the World cup has come to early for him. He has only just turned 19 so he will only get better, and he will definetely be in the Eurpean championships.

I really don't care if England loose, they are just experimenting some of the youth. Holland should appreciate playing a WC2002 team, because this friendly is going to be their whole world cup wrapped up in one match.

WHOOOHOO WE should appreciate playing the GREAT england! Hmm don't agree mate. England should appreciate playing US! We may not have qualified for the WC, but we're still much, much better then England. It's a good test for England, to play a good team. I fear England will leave Japan/Korea after the first week. Although I'm supporting them instead of my beloved Holland.

Yeah I support that, England's going down wednesday against our Orange force
Doesn't matter who Sven picks, Holland is better and I believe it will be 2-1 at the end of the match but I hope they score more goals. V Nistelrooy, Kluivert, Hasselbaink are topscorers from the best leagues in Europe so who can top them and especially Ruud hehehe

nonnonononononononononononononononoNO! You are sadly mistaken my friend. Look at Holland's group compared to ours. They had no excuse to not qualify for the WC. England are a completely different team now. It will not be easy to beat them. This is not Euro 2000.
