Beattie has been banging in the goals recently, I can't see how he should really miss this game, especially as England will need someone up front who can hold onto the ball.

I hate their mentality, they finish 3rd in a crap WC and suddenly they think they are the best in everything.

Also turkish fans are hooligans.

Im not scared of them as football team because they're clearly not the best, but I sure dont want my country destroyed.

And if I had to pick between English and Turkish hooligans I pick English.

Yes they finised 3 in WC but they are not crap. They are still a very solid and strong team that can beat anyone.

All Turkish fans are not hooligans:kader: I think you should be carded for that comment. All clubs and counterys have bad fans so no need to say **** like that.

They will get far in Euro 2004 trust me. Probobly farter then Portugal will.

I dont usually get involved in these "debates"..............'cos it always ends up with a row ...but..........Lets not forget one thing here guys........Turkey have NEVER put a goal past England .....NOT EVER............and although most of the world would like to see England beaten on Saturday......Nah...i dont think so.............before the first leg i heard from a lot of people here as well as Turkish fans and players about how big and tough and great they are and how England were gonna get beaten big time..........and what was the score ?.........2 - 0 to England........England are not scared of anybody........everyone knows that........threats and big talk dont mean sod all on the pitch......and after this Rio fiasco ....well the boys are gonna be pulling together even moreso.......and with Collina in charge...........well that should take care of any dodgy behaviour on the pitch........so i reckon its looking good for England......and as for all the boys who would love to see Turkey beat us .....looks like another Saturday night crying into your beer................Score?.........Who knows..........:D

I would not be to sure of that. They are playing at home and i dont think they will get beat. Also i dont drink beer:p

i agree with that 10000%

they finished 3rd, which does sound great. But they played ****e teams thruout the tournament.... there hardest opponent was Brazil (which they lost to twice) and the next hardest were... Costa Rica (which they drew) ...they arent as good as u think!

and did England play good teams in the WC too other than Brazil?? Nope thats why they lost to Brazil.

how can u say that Argentina, Sweden and Denmark are poor teams :| they are a hell of a lot better than costa rica and china :|

I think rio's ban would actually make the team stronger, not that I think the FA treated him fairly.

The players are much more united and pumped. I can see Becks playing a good game. I'm expecting a good result.

Argentina sucked at the WC:| Denmark are crappy as well. Sweden is ok but they are not that good either.
