this is gonna be awesome as the guy who got it DPL is a hammers fan and the same one who got the play-off final last season, can't wait and thankyou!!! :) :rockman:

Here's the details:

1. I have teamed up with Setanta Sport Australia and we have the exclusive rights to the English 1st Division [Coca-Cola Championship - CCC] for 2004-05;

2. We will launch the CCC on this Saturday night 7th August in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth;

3. The broadcast game will be either:
LEICESTER v WHU, kick-off LIVE midnight AEST; or
LEEDS v DERBY, delayed broadcast from 11.30pm AEST

The LEICESTER v WHU game is not being shown live in the UK and there are some rights issues that will finally be settled tonight. If it is available it will be the broadcast game.

4. Setanta Sport has also signed an exclusive 4 year contract with the Scottish Premier League (SPL) to broadcast live SPL football games world-wide. ABERDEEN v RANGERS will screen live at the Sydney and Brisbane venues from 9.30pm AEST and in Perth from 7.30pm AWST.

5. Venues will be as follows:
SYDNEY: Metro Theatre, 624 George Street Sydney 2000 Tel: (02) 9287 2000
MELBOURNE: Turf Bar, Queen St, Melbourne (03) 9670 1271, Website: www.turfaccountants.com.au
BRISBANE: The Pig 'N' Whistle (Riverside), Eagle St, Brisbane (07) 3832 9099,
Website: www.pignwhistle.com.au
PERTH: The Civic Hotel, Inglewood, Perth (08) 9272 1011
ADELAIDE: TBA

All tickets will be available at the venues from Friday. Cost $25. For updates see the Setanta web site at: http://www.setanta.com.au.

6. If we do NOT get the LEICESTER v WHU game for Saturday night then we will broadcast LIVE the WHU v READING - Kick Off 5am Wednesday 11th August AEST. Due to the very early start this broadcast will be restricted to Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane as it will be uneconomic to include Adelaide & Perth at that time. Venues to be confirmed.

7. The Australian broadcast schedule for the CCC for August/September will be on the Setanta web site: http://www.setanta.com.au from later today. As we secure rights to more games we will add these to our broadcast list. We already have Notingham Forest v WHU September 26 LIVE at 10pm AEST.

So sorry for the delay but obtaining these rights has been hard work!

Please circulate this to all WHU fans so that we maximise the number of people we reach. Time is so short due to the delays in securing the rights.

Email me with any questions.

Uhh..there are teams in leagues other than the fabled Premier League, and (you might want to sit down right about now) people actually support these clubs! As such they wouldn't mind the chance to watch them every once in a while. But I'm sure the legions of glory hunters have no concept of this whatsoever.

fine good for you go watch your sh it clubs in a lower class league.

and another thing, go f uck yourself - I don't even support a team in the EPL, it's just a better league to watch, I assure you more people prefer it (especially in Australia) to Division 1.

I'm sure they do - but such a sweeping generalisation makes you look like a fool. And I realise that Division 1 is a lower class league, but my club is not ****. West Ham United is a superb club and I am proud to be a 4th generation supporter of it. As for you, it's been what - 15 months since Milan won the CL? I'm sure you've learnt a lot in that time, you glory hunting jerk.

freaking glory hunter. So, what your team drops down a division and you are saying we should all support another team? **** that ****, besides there are a lot of big clubs here in Division 1, and division 1 isn't as bad as you would think.

You are really a prick.

People are free to talk about whatever soccer league in the soccer forum.

If people want to talk a about a football league let them talk about it and mind whatever league you want. Even if it is the Kenyan 3rd Division Football League.

I enjoy CCC and say good on you to all you true fans! In CCC it can be sometimes alot more interesting then EPL, because when you win in CCC you move up to a new League and have new challanges arise.

I wish every sport had Relegation it would be so much better.
