I know that the 1996-97 Middlesbrough team was relegated but at the time it was the most exiting team in the Premiership. Though the defence was rubbish Middlesbrough provided some of the most exiting games of the season including; Manu 3:3 Boro, Boro 7:1 Derby, Boro 3:3 Chesterfield etc. That is why I think they should be in it.

GK. 25 Ben Roberts
RB. 2 Neil Cox
LB. 7 Vladimir Kinder
CB. Nigel Pearson
CB. Gianluca Festa
DM. Emerson
RM. Craig Hignett
LM. Robbie Mustoe
AM. Juninho
LF. Fabrizio Ravanelli
RF. Mikkel Beck

Others: CB 4 Steve Vickers, LW 12 Alan Moore, RB 14 Curtis Fleming, LB 3 Derek Whyte, GK 1. Mark Schwarzer, AM 20 Phil Stamp, 16 AM Bryan Robson...

I know you probably disagree but Middlesbrough went in the record books that season for many reasons...

And if you don't think that 96/97 Boro should be in it what about Carlos Charltons 3rd place Middlesbrough long time ago!

Fair enough YLK, I see your point - Everyone keep replying, let's get this show on the road!

King Kenny

Reserve Team
Can we please, please keep it down to teams from one season only? I.e. no Liverpool 1977-1984, but just Liverpool 1984. It's so darn unrealistic to have players in a team who never played together.

Thanks,

King Kenny.

That's all I have. I was told that the players numbers back then were 1-11 depending on the starters. I would have E-mailed this like you asked but the links to people's E-mails isn't working at the moment.
Hope this helps.

And what about the Tottenham of the end of the 80's /early 90's, with Durie, Gascoigne, Walsh and the great and only Gary Lineker?

I'm sorry but I can't quite remember about the rest of the squad

I think Arsenal 97/98 where they did that great double! You know when they went on that great run with something like 18 games unbeaten! and that unforgettable 1:0 defeat of Man Utd with Marc Overmars' great move.
The team went something like this:-
Seamen
Dixon
Keown
Adams
Winterburn
Parlour
Viera
Petit
Overmars
Wright or Anelka

Bergkamp
This is one great team!
