It would be great to hear reviews about things happening around us. If you've been to a concert, gallery, museum, theatre or anywhere lately share your experience with us all. Also rate restaurants in your area. The idea is to build up an information source for anyone travelling to or living in a particular area.

Use the following guidelines:

1) What you did, where it is, how much it costs. And your review or experience. Rate it Hot if you liked it, Not if you didn't and So-So if it was a bit of both. Also list any upcoming events that you are going, or might go to.

2) For restaurants tell us the name, place, average cost of meal, your experience and rate it out of five stars (*****).

Joe Star

Starting XI
Place: Public Toilet
Location: Any town, anywhere in the world(i think  )
Cost: anywhere from nothing to a buck, depends where you are :D
Review: Directions to it are not needed, you can smell it from a mile. Not a place for the faint hearted, has many gruesome sights. Basic ammenities lacking, often its just a wall to pee against :D. Noxious fumes might be owerpowering. Proceed at your own risk.
Rating: -4.8 out of 10 :ewan:

Tom

That Nice Guy
Place: Public Bus
Location: Most towns and cities
Cost: Anywhere from free to £10.
Review: Buses are simply brilliant entertainment, why travel in a nice car when you can get your legs cruched for a price! Also the people you find on buses are wonderfully interesting, a must do.
Rating: 4/5, the way to go...

TROD.

Avalanche

Senior Squad
Place: Metro, Subway, Underground, Tube, The T
Location: All major cities
Cost: Varies
Review: Just think of it as a really crowded hellhole. Full of unsavoury people such as pickpocketers and registered sex offenders, the Metro is definitely an unfavoured mode of transport for me. Due to its overcrowdedness, travel is NOT recommended during morning and afternoon rush hours.
Rating: 0.5/5, your better off driving to get from A to B.

I actually think this is a pretty good idea for a thread...

Event: National Anthems (a play with Kevin Spacey)
Location: The Old Vic Theatre, London
Cost: £20-£50 depending on seat quality
Review: A rather mediocre play rescued by Spacey's electric performance - definately worth seeing to see that great man life in action, the other actors arent too good though and the story is pretty dull, so you may be better off waiting for his next play Philidelphia Story
Rating: 6/10

Deutschland

Starting XI
Place: Melbourne Trams (in particular Glenferrie Road)
Location: Glenferrie Road, ESPECIALLY between scotch and Glenferrie train station..
Cost: free or $150. ie; you dont buy a ticket, you either make it or get fined :kader:
Review: Trams, usually, are the shiznit. Except when you get caught by tram inspectors. Owell..
Rating: 3/5, Jihad on all ticket inspectors
