well, i didn't said those kits is MY PATCH, i already declare that those kit i just want to share with fifa gamers whose like it, and if someone like it, can downloads them, if don't like, just don't look at that. i'm not cheating, i can't help if you feel that.

common, sKIp_E, i do research too, i also get my reference from the real kits, i also spend much time too make the kits into 3GK.

You still can release your EPL kits patch, a lots of your fans are waiting, all of your fans know you are working hard to make the quality kits! As i mention, those kits i uploaded is NOT MY PATCH, just to share my fun.

ok, you're right, i should give the credit to whose kits i re-texture and re-draw. Thanks to Ariel whose make the 3GK format, and thanks to others, whose feel those kits like their designs because i really don't know who are they.

that is all i wanna to said, i don't want to make someone unhappy, i believe all fifa gamers just want the fun when they playing their Fifa2002, i'm so sorry if i make someone unhappy.

i made all EPL team in 3GK kits, here is the picture

What im saying is that u should tell people when you annouce the patch that they are remakes, and then you should also supply a small textfile in the zip(they take up no size so its not an issue) thanking the kit maker in question.

I definately agree with that last two sentences though..

One last thing, its not just this that has stopped me releasing my EPL kits, its other piracy, and of course the time factor. I just dont think its worth wasting my time on the patch any more. If i get anough requests i may still make it, but im more likely to make individual kits(EPL even) if they're requested.

ok lets stop this... i know you feel strongly about the issue sKIp_E but forgive and forget... it sounds like he knows his mistake now and has learned from it. As for sKIp_E's EPL patch... MAKE IT!!! I want it bad in fact i thought this thread was anouncing YOUR patch!!! I was real happy and i'm sure others would love for you to do your patch!

The Patch isnt entirely off the drawing boards, I suppose Cancelled was too strong a word, its more Postponed until I get some time, something which at the moment i am very short of.

aha yeh.. that's what i thought too, looking somewhat familiar with JJ's EMPK2k2.

Here's the big suspicion...

notice the top left kits, they're in NHL textures all of a sudden. Hmm.... and the background of those GK kits, especially the Pool ones look strangely familiar...

Those kits look great!

I know I sound picky but the lines on the Arsenal home kit are a dark navy blue is there anyway you could change them. I have tryed to do it myself on other kits but I suck and it always comes out looking like crap.

All of this politically correct nonsense aside - I believe that as long as you don't intentionally deceive anyone and give FULL credit to the original designer in the readme and any notices, then that's alright by me - and besides, if the original designer had thought to produce a 3GK version themselves in the first place, then this situation wouldn't be happening.

Anyroadup, my main question in all of this is:

It is apparent that certain kit designers are privvy to some insider info as to how vertical and horizantal stripes are interpreted once inside the game on the kits. Is there some sort of a shell or test-program which would show just how these look before actually having to import them and run inside the game?

These kits are VERY Good
The only problem is - how do i download them??
When i go onto your site, it comes up with this screen, but no EPL downloads!
on the screen that comes up, and there are no links to any other sites apart from ur ryan Giggs 1.
Plz fix this, as the kits are good

Man we do love so just put back your EPL kits and scrou them whom ever dose not like can bang his had to the wall, it's not like the own them if they get their credit that's enough...

yes but i never used you texture on a kit i released.
I was experimenting with it, and i had been told by someone(number 9) that it was his texture, and i gave him credit for it.
Stevene11 didnt give anyone credit, he just went along and claimed the kits as his own.
Now i think he has done the right thing by taking them off his site.
If these people want those kits, get them off the orginal maker.

Well actually they do OWN them
Its called intellectual property, and is subject to copyright just like anything else. So ask the people that made them for permission, AND give them credit, and then and only then is it OK.

Actually i said it was a texture i had, but someone else had made (although at the time i couldnt think who it was so just said "someone"). I also gave credit for the templates once I knew that I whose I was actually using, and editing.
Sorry if there was any confusion I prob didnt make that very clear at the time. As long as its sorted now, n theres no harm done.

By the way what u guys think of my Newcastle Away Keeper Kit?
Its not quite finished yet coz i need to put an addidas logo on it.

yeah sorry number 9 i didnt mean for it to sound like i was blaming u, but u gave me the textures, and said that u found them somewhere and that i was allowed to use them. But then i tried them ingame and they didnt look as good anymore.
Anyway the point is i never used that intellectual property in one of my KITS, only quickly to show somebody how to do something...

The point is if we want to keep this thing moving we have to be mpre tolerant...why are we making kits -- for ower own plasure . right --- so if some one uses my kits or textures i'll be happy because that means he likes my work....
