ERROR......caused an error in <unknown>

I am having this error when clicking on the .exe file, like many other people. The splash screen loads and I get the message. The sticky doesn't provide me with an answer to this problem since it's full of idiots crying about there not being long sleeves in the game. How do I fix this problem?? That "check the Use Folder Name" thing doesn't work...

And don't give me a link to that sticky because it's useless..........
