I've been a hardcore Fifa fan since 99. I've always loved the games EA made...just like most of you out there. But as many of you...I've come to realize, that what EA is best at, is pumping up people's expectations to their game!!! I still think 2003 is ages ahead of it's predecessors, and still think it's a great game. I still enjoy it...when I play it those 3-4 times in a month...! but really...I don't play it much anymore. What Fifa needs is lasting...lifespan...how to define it? It must last longer. It must be less repetitive.

Except for FIFA 2003 being a great game I agree. I'm utterly sick of the scripted 'this always works, that never does' BS in the FIFA games. The fact that your players will always take up exactly the same positions as will your opponents sh*ts me to tears. It is this fact (for myself at least) that kills all the excitment of playing the game in about a week. If EA can overcome this in 2004 AND get the ball physics right I believe that they will have solved about 90% of the problem with their games. If the game still feels heavily scripted though, then I think that it will be the last FIFA that I will buy. Lucky 7?

Who knows? I just get tired of saying, and hearing others say, let's hope...and...it will be the last Fifa I will buy...and ok, so this year it isn't top, but, but NEXT year! It will be great! Guys, do you realize you are as repetitive as EA? ;) :p (H) I know I have to thank EA for it...but still. :D
