EU Limit?

Ok, I'm playing in the French League, and I know of the 4 EU player limit.

Well I bought Yury Tsigalko to play for my St. Etienne. The weird thing is, he is not considered 'foreign', while the Brazillian players I bought and the African players without a EU passport are considered 'foreign'.

To get an understanding of this logic, I searched for Tsigalko with the EU National filter on, of which I got no result of. But as soon as I turned the EU National filter off, I find the Belarusian.

This is only one of the examples I see in my St. Etienne squad, as I purchased the Bulgarian legends thanks to the CM Legend mod. (Y)

I can prove with a SS, if my description isn't enough.

hmm i think in the french league as long as the players are from europe they aren't considered foreign. and african players aren't considered foreign too.

The french league doesn't count any player on the continent to be foreign. Likewise it doesn't count foreign french colonies to be foreign either, so that's why you see so many Senegal and Ghana players there. Essien is a good example.

(sorry again Hyun) so basically in the french league anyone who lives in europe is non-foreign, e.g. it doesnt matter if that country is from the EU?

TROD.

Nope that's not true. Any European is not considered to be foreign, regardless of EU status. Likewise anyone from colonial France is not considered to be foreign.
