Haha! Yeah. But he's got a nice idea there. I could start my own EURO 2004 also in WE7:I. Unfortunately Finland didn't make it.
So I guess I have to play with Germany or something...
...but about those qualifications Arsenal bud...are you going to simulate somehow the other qualification group's matches? Or only England's? And what if different team gets to the tournament from your group than in real life? Or what if you place on 2nd place and you have to continue to "qualification play-off" stage? What team will you compete with then? There's many buts...but not butts...

Sorry, I am defenitly not opposed to England, but about what talents are you talking? I know Beckham, also Lampard but then? Scholes and Owen did not have a great season and Rooney is overrated IMHO. Apart from that, they have a problem at lefthalf and in central defense where they have a long term suspension and a long term injury. I think England should be happy to overcome the group-stage. I know the premiership is one of the strongest leagues in Europe, but the most important players of the strong sides are foreigner, so that can mislead your hopes for Englands succes. Still, I wish the English good luck, because I like watching them
I think France and Italy are favorites, Holland and Spain outsiders.

England,Holland and the Czech Republic are favorites.France, Italy and Portugal are the strong favorites.Portugal could do very well with their home advantage and watch out for the Germans.
But lets hope it will be a good and exciting tournament unlike Korea and Japan 2002.There too many shocks in the early rounds(France were awful and Henry also got sent off in the second game) and in the end Brazil won the World Cup rather too easily IMO. so i hope at least the favorites go thru the early stages. But keep in mind that there would be some shock defeats like in the France vs England game, cuz that game could go either way.I hope Sven will pick Lampard in the starting 11 cuz he was the best English player last season and it will be interesting to see how well he plays alongside Stevie Gerard and Becks.

well i have to disaggre; the reason because i loved world cup 2002 was because of the many suprising revelation teams like senegal, turkey ,USA and maybe even germany because no one thuoght they would make that far; i love tournuments like that; and i hope the euro 2004 could turn out the same.

I doubt sven will start with both gerrard and lampard as neither are a holding player
