First I would like to start by congratulating the Greek team and the TRUE Greek fans (not the pathetic ones who always root for the **** teams.)

Deco has to be the most overated piece of crap in History. Every game I have watched with him in it he has only been able to produce ****.

7/10 : It would get a 4 or 5 if it wasnt for the Greek fairytale
The Portugese and thier team did a fabulous job and really should have won the tournament. Greek are ****e, if you watch them just pass the ball they have the skill of a MLS team and truly played the epitamy of anti-football(worse than the Italians).
They made every game with them in it a bore to watch. One thing that makes a tournament is classic matches and this tournament truly only had 2, the Holland vs. Czhech and the England vs. Portugal. In terms of quality football this was the worst Euro tournament ever. Only small amounts of skill. I remeber when everyone was complaing about the WC 2002 because South Korea and Turkey were in the semis and not enough quality football was shown. Well look at this Euro tournament and Champions League final Greece vs. Portugal and Monaco vs. Porto, what a bunch of non classic, ****ty matches. To me the more the underdog teams win in football the less fun it will be and the tournament will just keep on going downhill leaving league games as the only true pleasure for fans to watch.



I know I've said this a million times but I am ******* god damn tired of these small, un skilled teams upsetting all of the teams that have true skill or the ability to play beautiful football like Portugal, Spain, France, Czech, Italy(yes Italy).
Don't you think the final would have been much more fun to watch if it Was the Czech that got through and at the end of the day the main reason we watch football is for enjoyment and unless your a Greek fan there is no way you could have enjoyed this crap tournament.





Anyone who didn't watch the tournament, Please don't reply because you truly don't know what boring football is until you have watched some of the games in this tournament. It was like watching the Milan vs. Juve Cl final over 8 times.

euro 2004 was terrible........ no good games, no standout players, anti-football won over attacking football, most of the big teams went out early, the stars didn't play well.......... i can only hope that WC06 is better than the last two tournaments

And Portugal organized the tournament greatly, making spectacular stadiums.

No, it wasn´t a great tournament, but it wasn´t a really bad one, there were some good games as bbranco appointed. Oh, and I kind of enjoyed Greece v Czech Rep...

well, it sucked for me, because i put my heart for Portugal in the end, i got really into it, etc...Besides Portugal my favourites were France, purely because of Zidane. Im still proud of all the players in the portoguese team tho, and also of Zidane.

alright.................... they were decent games, maybe even good games.... but at a european championship i would have wanted better

Yes; Greece really knows how to win and France are overoverrated. And France v England was bad to wath until the 45th of 2nd half.

I too was dissapointed but you cannot blame the teams that made it through at the expense of the big guns..what did you expect those teams to do? Lie down and die? This is the way the game is...Rooney pumping goals like crazy wins attention of squads like Chelsea and the rest of the world who say "WOW" .....team effort over individual performances wins tournaments....suck up your sour grapes !

It's always great to see the wee team win.

I almost yawned myself to death during the final of WC 2002, the two teams in the final were the two teams who have won the most world cups. YAWN.

Be quiet about David Beckham. He was not selfish. He was confident. His first penalty was good, but Barthez was better. His second penalty, we all know about the grass, and no matter how many times he practiced on it before the game, he still couldn't predict the sand.
He was, at the worst, slow and tired, but that is not selfishness, and most likely, was not his fault. With all that had been happening in his private life, I'm not surprised he was not in best form.
Had Beckham taken Vassels penalty, and scored, he wouldn't have been insulted and scapegoated so much. So you're considering him selfish because he missed one shot?

There's no way you can fall asleep during Greece matches if you're a Greece fan. You're always in the edge of your seat whilst the other team is attacking.
