how can you not say the WC?
Youd have to be european to say Euro. The world cares about the WC A LOT MORE than they do Euro. The WC has so much history and prestige, plus all the world is invovled, and they ALL upset each other, you never know whats going to happen. In Euro its a lot more predictable.
Plus European countries cant win a World Cup outside of Europe! So whenever a Wcup is outside of Europe you know its going to be a good WC!

I prefer the Euro competition. You don't get any weak teams playing in the competition. The tournament is always in Europe, which is good for us Europeans because it will be shown on TV at a reasonable time and travelling half way across the world will not help a team play there best football (Just ask Italy and France). I also prefer it because it's not as predictable as the world cup. A tournament final can actually be played without Brazil in it.
Latvia? Maybe you mean they are more weak teams in WC? Name me all the weak teams in the WC 2002.

If you quoted me on the sentence after you would see that i was calling Brazil playing in the final predictable, not the actual tourney. Euro 2004 has atleast 4 teams capable of a final.
well latvia and greece would only qualify on merit and deservedly so. I see the different points of views here but for pure excitement i enjoy the euro's more because it would mean more to me personally

(but i got used to it)why are people ragging on Latvia, ok theyre not the most powerful nation but hey they knocked out Turkey!! myself i prefer the W/C just cos its all the world countries, the Euro one is the best continental one, plus as already stated the games are on at areasonable time

-More evenly matched teams than a World Cup
-Local rivalries happen more often
-Easier for the fans to travel to see their team in action
-You'd get to see the majority of the world's best players in action
-The last European Championship produced more memorable moments than the last World Cup, even though the latter has double the amount of matches than the former

lolI think that it is the World Cup, this is where every team has a chance to put in a great showing for the world to see, with the Euro it is only for certain countries not the whole world, with the World Cup the whole planet is exicted not just Europe.

From that quote its seems like you think it is only europeans fans who go to watch the matches.
People shouldnt complain where the world cup is held, Lets say the world cup is held in Europe, time of matches are good for people Europe but not people who are in S.America, Africa, Asia and Ocenia It is same when it is held in Asia.
