Damn that was a great match to watch (thanks to YLE for finally showing something proper). Couldn't have imagined it to do our way any nicer. :) The shock start with lucky saves and then some great play by us.
This season looks to turn out decent, or maybe even rather good. (H)
Fletch was great on the first half, worked really hard.
C.Ronaldo was brilliant till he was subbed off.
Carroll - what more could we want.. :)
Scholes flashed on a few moments, but overally didn't play at his best imo. Condolences to arsenal fans, Reyes looked to pick up a serious knock.

I'd like to pick up the current state of Thierry Henry. He's been rather frustrated lately, dirty tackles and losing easy balls. If he keeps going to this direction, there could be little chances for Forssell to take the golden boot. (hey it'd take just 2 hattricks!) :p

Fergie was 100% solid too, making exactly the right choices on every situation. I HOPE ARSENE WILL FINALLY LEARN TO APPRECIATE THE WORLDS OLDEST CUP COMPETITION.

last, wtf would be the reason to hate Darren Fletcher. He always tries hard and looks to be forming into Keane-like fighter.
Wes Brown looks to gain confidence again as well. Good for him. (Y)

Mickaël Silvestre :monkey: (Y)

and to finish this off, big props to the young Arsenal defender 'Clichy'. He impressed me again. You guys are lucky to have such a great young defender.

Congrats to Man U :) A well deserved victory. We had our chances and squandered them. THe scoreline is the only stat that matters....Looks like we switched places from last season in terms of silverware!!

That is the stupidest thing i have heard this week.

Arsene doesnt respect the cup. wenger put out a team capable of beating manchester united, u cant blame him if they have 4 games in a week.

Plus if winning the cup twice in a row and getting to the final 3 times in a row doesnt show his respect for the cup then i dont what does.

think before u say things that dont make sense

God knows we don't appreciate the FA Cup, we've only been to the semis FOUR YEARS IN A ROW  I agree with ogsimon, that is the stupidest thing I've heard all week. Le Boss didn't let us down, our finishing did...BTW, I remember last year that tons of Man U fans were calling our triumph in the FA Cup a sad consolation to losing the league title...hmmm THe FA Cup rocks, IMO, sad to see us lose it, but you can't win it every year!

As much as i hate Arsenal, that was a stupid statement Jason. That was Arsenal's first defeat in the competition since the 2001 final against Liverpool, so they take it seriously every year. They had a full strength team out, apart from Henry.

I would've done the highlights earlier but I went out soon after the game for a kick about down the park with some friends.

I'll do some soon, probably a few hours.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so damn happy right now!:p
I just loved the game, every moment of it. The first 3 minutes were really nervous for me. First Bergkamp's run, then Carroll saved and right after it, Dennis's shot and Wes saved! Then corner, crossbar, Toure and Carroll saved again! That was a hell of a scare for me. Well done Wes and Roy so save us there. Giggs made 2 similar crosses (1 on Sunday and 1 today) to Scholes and if i had to chose between one of them to result a goal, i would have chosen the one today, which is what happened. We were out of the race before the Arsenal game last week and to beat Arsenal in the FA Cup semis is not important that it might seem. Because if we win the final (most likely, but anything can happen), then we will stretch our lead to 2 in terms of the FA Cups. United would have 11 and Arsenal 9. Then it's not all. We we missing our 2 starting defenders Rio and Quinton and 2 main forwards Saha and Ruud, while Arsenal had 3 of the main forwards on for 30 min and 4 of their main forwards on for 20 min and we still kept a rare clean sheet! Then this win ended Arsenal's hopes of tying a record of 3 FA Cups won in a row this season and it ended their chance of tying a record for winning the most Elite treble.:p Plus of coarse we prevented Arsenal form tying us for the most FA Cup wins.

Now Wes Brown played magnificent. Man of the match imo. With so many critics against him in winter, i believe in him and now he did what no defender in england could do this season - put in 2 such great performances, against the unstoppable Arsenal who has the best offences in england. Congrats Wes i hope you get another bottle of champagne or whatever they give for MOM in the FA Cup.

Clichy played really well for Arsenal and Sol was magnificent:confused: ! But it was funny to see Dennis's appeal for penalty being turned down by ref after he dived near the end of the first half.

Overall Well done United, you shut down overconfident people that were sure of Arsenal winning and now let's take our Cup:rockman: :p .

I don't want to take away the Man Utd win as they played really well but there were some questionable noncalls. The kick Keane gave to Pires didn't get a card. The handballs Silvestre had. And it seemed like Man Utd wanted to kick Arsenal around to try to slow them down.

On the other hand Bergkamp should not have started. After watching Reyes and Henry make their Defence run around a week ago why did Wenger put him in the game. It just didn't work against Man utd. If it was Reyes or Henry with Aliadiere then I think Ali would've done much better.

C. Ronaldo was outstanding. I always liked him, but the way he did his tricks tonight wow. This guy is great (H)

Good win for United, and lets hope we can thrash Millwall/Sunderland (H)

We didn't get a penalty last week, so now it's even. Plus i am pretty sure United did want to foul Arsenal quite a few times, ater what Arsenal did in the Community shield and at OT it is very understandable.

Here are some nice facts about this season:
United is the only team that got 2 cleen sheets with Arsenal this season.
United did not lose to Arsenal this season at all.

That's such a weak argument you gave. I won't get into it as it's now over and I don't want to start another argument.
