hey guys ... been travelling so I missed the game ... but I was in London, and visited the Emirates ahead of Grand Slam Sunday's Arsenal v Chelsea match!

anway, just found out about the result ... 0-3 was a little more than I expected ... but I was extremely pleased to hear Eto'o scored not one, but two'o goals! I am still to see the highlights, but I heard one goal -- the first, I think -- was a bit more vintage, a bit more special ...

sad to hear about Messi ... I'm not too worried though ... it could work to our advantage, to be honest ... everyone including Real Madrid would be looking at Messi to lead our attack ... but with him out, there is no certainty what line-up will start ... Eto'o's back, and he almost always kicks ass against Real ... Ronnie could use this game to show whether he can deliver on the big stage ... Gudjo wants to prove a thing or two ... plus we have Iniesta, Xavi, Yaya Toure ... if the team plays to potential, we have no worries whatsoever ...

I don't think anyone here said it doesn't matter. It's just that we need to be able to win without him too. As I earlier said, we don't wanna be the team which is carried by one player. I mea, sure, Messi is probably the greatest player in the world right now, but we've proved we can play without Eto'o, Deco, Zambrotta, Toure and some other players at the same time, so why not without Messi. For ****s sake, this is FC Barcelona we're talking about, the greatest football club in the world. We're not Messi-fans, we're Barca-fans. C'mon man, geez...

I wouldn't give Madridistas the satisfaction of being that important! For me Barcelona is the most important and I will say I am a proud Barcelonista (and socio!) and I definitely hate Madrid, but I won't define myself by my hatred, but by my love!

Couldn't have put it better myself. Ithink we all hate Madrid on some level as we are Barca fans, but it's not the main point. This is a bit same thing as when I said "we are not Messi-fans, we are Barca-fans", we're mainly Barca-fans, not Madrid-haters, it just comes in a 2-pack, just like in tv-shop.

Yo odio al Madrid, de eso no hay duda, pero no me define. Me define el amor por el Barca, no el odio por el Madrid. No se si me entiendes, pero para mi, el hecho de definirme como anti-Madridista le da mucho poder e importancia al Madrid.

Si me quieres llamar perikito, solamente demuestras el nivel de tu mentalidad infantil.

No, no... claro que odio al Madrid... es que ni los puedo ver sin sentir un gran desgusto... Cuando vea una camiseta del Madrid, de inmediato esa persona pierde brillo para mi.

En el grupo aqui de Toronto FC, hay mierdistas y realmente me es dificil tenerles el mismo respeto que a los demas, a pesar de nuestro amor compartido por el equipo de nuestra ciudad.

Pero mi desden por ellos es tal que prefiero no definirme por ellos... no se... es un concepto distinto.

Es como, para demostrar cuanto los odio, no les doy importancia...

No significan tanto... se creen tanto que para mi lo mejor que puedo hacer es restarles importancia. Es mi manera de demostrar mi odio...

Por eso dije, respeto mucho la decision de nuestro compañero de usar ese sig, pero para mi, yo me defino por mi amor por el club mas grande y mas noble de la historia.

Does anyone know what time the game will be? I looked up on soccernet and some other sites, and they all say 13:00 ET. I'm not sure what time zone that is, though. If that's in Spain time I'm gonna have to wake up at like, 8 AM, but not totally sure.

Vivi en Margarita casi un año y tres meses en Caracas. Mi esposa es de ahi.

I don't know what's wrong with you. You consider only Barcelona as a great team in Europe. You should watch other games, not only Barcelona matches. Then you would know more about "big" clubs.
