Well I have it, bought it for 15 EUROS in promotion...but I'm still at the start, with 1 hour and something rounded. I have to say, the game looks quite solid so far. Gotta love those slow-mo stuff really.
But I have few time right now, maybe in the first week of September I'll be able to catch up some of it.

One of the best FPS experiences ever imo....i had to play on low settings and finished it in a week... it was scary at times 
If u can play the game on high settings on a high end rig then good luck....its one hell of a game

I wouldn't call Stalker even remotely as good. And stalker isn't exactly fps too. Not to mention that it is the worse coded game ever to hit retail. (aka buggiest game ever) It even beats Gothic 3.
Anyway, A good 2 year old rig can play FEAR on max with a 6800GT. (maybe just with shadows on low/med)

I can think of dozens of games off the top of my head that were heinously buggy on release from the past year to the 90's: Oblivion, Neverwinter Nights, Arcanum (and the other Troika games), the Fallouts, practically all of the latest installments to the Ultima series, King's Quest VII (which actually got a second retail release, fixing some of the bugs) Quest for Glory IV, etc...
Not even the highest selling PC game of all time fixed all it's bugs after half a dozen expansions.

Dont wanna sound like an ass m8, but Stalker is in a league of its own when it comes to bugs. Not saying its a bad game, just really really problematic.

We have to blame consoles for that. Rushed releases from publishers, lower quality games overall due to the competitive nature of console games where developers keep making less and less inspired and innovate gaming production, while at the same time they keep asking for more money for each title. (pc games always had lower prices). PC gaming is dieing, Unfortunately.
