F1 - 2004 grid so far

I heard B&H are going to continue sponsoring Jordan for this season, but I am not sure if they increased it.

If they arent increasing it, I think Pantano will get the drive. If they did increase it, I would go for McNish considering Firman didnt really impress last season altho you can say he had the 2nd worse car on the grid I think EJ will want a fresh face.

McNish also seemed to really help in the setups of the Renaults for last years races during the Friday practice.

Barrichello smashed the Mugello track record by 2 seconds with the new Ferrari 2004 ! :rockman: :o

The time he set was 1'18"704. The previous lap record was held by Michael Schumacher in 1'20"943 since June 2002.

Impressive (H)

maybe ... but 2 seconds below the old record still proves that the car is quick !

Dont mean a thing..

He could have been running light on fuel with brand new tyres and the engine set to its higher revs...

Being a Williams fan, I keep hearing the FW26 going quick here and there but it doesnt win them Championships...

yeah, I'm just not so sure after what happened with last yearz car. In laptimes, compared to the old F2002 it wasnt any faster. Actualy in some circuits, it was slower

They say that every year. 'Maybe he was running low on fuel'

Kind of not possible if they smash the lap record every year. Maybe they make the track shorter every year :)

Huh?:o

Everytime when I see the times in testing at the bottom is says " *unofficial lap times" ?

Yes, because it's not a race event. Only in race events they can be 'official' like that. The times are official, though, because they are kept on record by the FIA. This is done to keep the track records up-to-date, mostly, btw.

Never let these official statements fool you. :)
