Thrilling end to the season, with another bad case of the English choking curse. I don't expect that to continue into next season for this Hamilton kid, though. Excellent season for him, but his team did let him down with their politics. Had they really treated their drivers as equals, they'd have won the championship by miles.
One point dividing the first three though, the fans sure as hell didn't lose here.
Our winner sure as hell didn't leave anything to chance this weekend, scoring a perfect seventeen out of seventeen points to jump into the lead. Congratulations, Fernandez!!!
The second place goes to ever consistent fender, who wins a podium for the second time, after getting a third in the final rankings two years ago.
Our previous leader, Football Addict, only hung on to a third podium place by a single point - thanks to ScimitarPES2 posting his prediction. Just to make it clear to nor-rbk and I: allowed and not reviewable.
Final standings:
Even the non-serious entries scored positive results! So proud.
I'll post the awards during the next week. I need some time to make them, as I don't like standard cup awards. Bah.
Then to announce my retirement from running this league. The 80 to 90 hours I put into various more interesting stuff every week doesn't leave me much time for menial stuff like this. I'll still be contending, but the twenty minutes I have to put into it every two weeks are too easily forgotten about to ensure a smooth running of the league. There must be people with less things to do (any adolescent between 15 and 21 should fit that description, easy), who would be better for it.
