Mourinho backs Man Utd for FA Cup
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has thrown his backing behind Manchester United for their FA Cup final against Arsenal.
Mourinho wishes Portuguese countrymen Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Queiroz to shine but also enthused on his relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson.
"I respect him, but not just respect, I like him," Mourinho told BBC Sport in a documentary to be televised on Monday.
"He is a person to fight with but a person that when a game ends we share a glass of wine and speak openly."
He added: "He is a very correct person and he teaches me a few things.
"I also have a strong relationship with Sir Alex. I think a man like him deserves silverware year after year.
"I would like Manchester United to win. I have no problem to say that."
Mourinho led Chelsea to the Premiership title and a Carling Cup win this season in his first campaign in English football.
And while he has bonded with Ferguson his rapport with Wenger remains distant.
"I don't know him well, so I think it's not fair to speak about someone I don't know personally," added Mourinho.
"When he says he likes other Chelsea teams much more than our team I know why - because we are the champions. He preferred the other way when they were the champions.
"I didn't like Arsenal at the start of the season when they smashed everybody and I don't like them now when they beat Everton 7-0 and they win.
"But I liked them very much in the middle of the season when every weekend they lost points.
"I was in love with them then, so I can understand why Arsene doesn't like us."

.......and not only that man,but they won the fair play award last season after acting like a gang of thugs.......talk about the blue eyed boys of the FA............they should have been docked points for that disgraceful behaviour but were they?....of course not,the FA like them too much........ 
Ahhh, Mourinho finally speaks after his season is done. You gotta admire the man, he will always make a joke out of a serious comment (the last 3 lines). But the reason he wants United to win is because the way Fergie treated him after Chelsea knocked United out in the Carling Cup, from that point on, all i heard from the news is the two manages praising each other. Good to see that at least Mourinho is not a stupid chatterbox. When he is talking he knows what he is talking about, unlike Wenger.Payaah said:

Who did i suddenly like? Mourinho? I never hated him, because even though he is very arrogant, but after it's over it's over. He stops talking, while for Wenger after it's over it's still not over for him. Mourinho admits that his is arrogant, while Wenger everytime keeps on saying that he is just confident and blah blah blah. Admiring does not necessarily mean liking him, you gotta admit he is one hell of a manager.ericstarkid said:

Mourinho's been good for the Premier League, he's added a bit more excitement and even though he always has something controversial to say he doesn't hold back and it makes for good entertainment. It's Arsene Wenger I can't stand, just the look of him and his dumb attitude.

Malcolm Glazer, son Joel and the other boys will be up early this morning in Tampa to tune into ESPN to watch the showdown live. Sir Alex Ferguson said yesterday: "I don't know if they'll be there, but they'll be watching from the States, I'm sure of that. It will give them an idea what Manchester United is."
